I'd be doing Taranto to Nankervis

I've got Smith and wondering if Macraedie is worth getting, how do you rate his JS?

Macreadie wasn't too bad today. They would want to get as many games as possible into him so could be a decent option for Smith.

I like option 2 Mat FWIW. Witts looking decent so far, has excellent JS and will make cash.

I'm not sure if Nank is a must. He isn't going to be a top ruck and while he is scoring well for the forward line his scores seem a bit questionable when compared to his DT. I don't see him sustaining it and it's chasing points with another mid price option. Taranto should still make me some cash as a M8/F6 swingman early, I might as well grab Witts for the cash generation if I am going that route.

On Macreadie, I like him. He has played well and deserves his spot in the 22 right now. The main threat for his JS is Byrne and he is a LTI. He kicks the ball pretty well, can clunk them but it looks like his decision making isn't really quick and some indecisiveness creeps in. He has played 2 games of footy so that is to be expected.

I just saw this now. I'm leaning towards Witts because it was my initial plan to start him at R3 as coverage in freaking January. What's sad is I'm finding my team looking more and more like one of my first drafts. I reckon I'm not going to touch my team until Wednesday night before round 1 next year. Every year we over think it and it can turn to crap pretty quick.

2164, ranked 30,759 and Gawn out for 3 months. Can it get any worse?

I traded in Murphy for Hanners and Butler for Pickett. So far both look like good trades off 1 week.

The team as it stands.

Doc, Shaw, Simmo, Marchbank, Otten, Hampton (Macredie, Stewart)
Danger, Pendles, Rocky, Murphy, Fyfe, Beams, Powell-Pepper, Petrevski-Seton (Taranto, Parfitt, Barrett)
Gawn ( :'() Sandi (Cameron)
Dahl, Macrae, Steele, Hoskin-Elliott, Butler, Houston (Hannan, Eddy)

I have 27 trades and 192k in the bank. I have to trade Gawn. I'm thinking either of Stef or Grundy in. Not certain yet. Newman looks like a must and if I am going to dump someone it has to be Stewart. It generates me barely any cash making the trade sideways but Newman could go up 100k pretty quickly and be a decent option on the field. I like Williamson as well next week but I'm burning through the trades and need to make some decisions.

Stef Martin will be a good pick this year. I'm looking at him as my ruck upgrade. You also don't have Nank, that's got to be a priority before his price goes through the roof.

Get Nank, He is looking a lock as a Fwd Prem, so if you play him in the rucks ATM and if need be when upgrading swing him into the Fwds.

If I was to back one of the two to hold their form it would be Stef. Nank isn't a must so I'm thinking of Stef.

2171 for the round which now has me at 11,710 in the rankings.

I ended up making the two trades of Stewart>Newman and Gawn>Stef. I made the mistake not taking Murphy as the loophole option.

Trades for this week I am looking at Taranto>Balic and Macreadie>Williamson.

That will give me 476k in the bank. I'm going to keep hoarding cash while these rookies are popping up. I'm waiting for Dusty to bottom out and he will be my first mid upgrade.

My team after trades will look like this.

Doc, Shaw, Simmo, Marchbank, Otten, Newman, (Hampton, Williamson)
Danger, Pendles, Rocky, Murphy, Fyfe, Beams, Powell-Pepper, Petrevski-Seton (Balic, Parfitt, Barrett)
Stef, Sandi (Cameron)
Dahl, Macrae, Steele, Hoskin-Elliott, Butler, Houston (Hannan, Eddy)

23 trades remaining.

good plan for the week. you have 2 mid spots left by the looks of it. i think bont is a muat have. have you considered jpk over dusty?

HoleMeal

Or perhaps even Sloane over Dusty?

Nice score last week too!

Mat0369

If you go back tot he start of the thread then Sloane is one I had in my team very early. The reason I am looking at Dusty is because my byes look like this right now

Bye 1

Rocky, Murphy, Beams

Bye 2

Danger

Bye 3

Pendles, Fyfe

Dusty should bottom out while Sloane is going to be top priced. I can use a round 12 bye mid more then any other and Dusty fits that. He and Selwood are the only two I will look at from that week. With Rocky, Murphy and Beams I probably can't afford another Round 11 bye until after the bye week actually happens so that rules out Bont/JPK for now. With the low score Dusty should be attainable in a fortnight and a lack of cash generating rookies will kill teams down the track if they buy guys at top price.
