Absolutely. I don't care if he averages 5 in India, let him play the series, it'll be a great experience for him. He's proven he's good enough at this level :)

Agree He has stated he wants to be the recognised all rounder so lets hope hope his bowling is sound as well.

Also, these terrible eastern states pitches suck (seeing teams get done for 85 is a billion times better than 450/4) - another reason to play more tests in Perth

Well we bowled Pakistan out for 160ish at the MCG, and 140ish at the Gabba. Might just be that Pakistan aren't that good as opposed to the pitches being terrible ;)

The Pakis are barely better away from home than the 15/16 West Indies, but these pitches don't help. Nor the rain. Nor the crowds.
