Have to wait and see unless one of them is injured I think a week is ample time to get up to play especially for Boxing Day but I'm not a big fan of the powers that be that are running the show

The squad is unchanged just like it was from the Perth to the Hobart test where they made 2 unforced changes from outside the squad ;D

They've already said that an All Rounder could be coming in for the next test, depends on how players pull up etc... And obviously whoever plays well in the BBL will probably get a call up to the test team because logic

I heard they would be monitoring fast bowlers who bowled 113 overs between them in the second innings. FFS these are supposed to be professional sportsmen with finely tuned bodies. When I was playing cricket on weekends we would think nothing of bowling 25/30 overs each weekend.
Heard an interesting interview on why fast bowlers are suffering the injuries they are. The person concerned put it down to changing the no ball rule from the back foot to front foot.  He used physiology to explain how the changed actions to ensure front foot was planted on the crease twisted the body more and it did make some sense.

Should @HiltonC149 debut Boxing Day; it will be first time since 1881-82 @CricketAus will field an XI with 3 players born overseas #AUSvPAK - Corbin Middlemas

Overseas XI. It's happening! :P

Why would we talk about it as an Australian issue before when it hasn't been? Hardly hypocritical

Well you do hear next to nothing about Ussie and co. being foreign-born, especially not negative stuff, but as soon as an England player is found out as foreign-born they are hounded here by media and supporters alike - that's hypocrisy.

Not as bad as the Aussie hypocrisy on batsmen walking tho ;)

You do realise that you are living in Australia ???

Of course the media and especially the supporters are going to take Australia's side in any debate ::) I'm sure it would be the same in the UK.
