I was thinking 375 then declare for Pakistan at the start of the day. Now I think see if Azhar can get to 200, take the score over 400, and then declare :) Still plenty of time to get a result in Pakistan's favour.

they should seriously just call it off. it's gonna be like this every day, with thunderstorms tomorrow

Jay

This has been an amazing innings by Azhar. Probably would've declared at that rain delay though.

Keep batting. Don't declare. Make it impossible for Australia and see what happens. Get 500 and it you won't need to bat again. Why stop at lunch if they keep batting so well and so quickly?

Who cares what you do, the entire test is flowered. May as well see how many runs old mate can make before he gets out

yeah I think that'll be Pakistan's best chance of winning the game. there will be more time lost due to rain so it might be too hard already that'll give em their best chance

How is it flowered? We see tests end inside 3 days all the time. Barring anymore major interruptions we will still get about 4 days play (360 overs) in.

Still plenty of time for Pakistan to win and if they do it'll be brilliant :D

Sohail is only 35 from a ton, they have to keep batting after the break now :D And tbh no point going out for 5 minutes just for Azhar's 200. 433 isn't enough to roll Australia twice, 500 might be enough. If it rains then it rains it'll be a draw, can't declare early because it might rain tomorrow. Bat for an hour after the break score 100 more, there's still a potential 240 overs left in the game, plenty of time!

You're assuming the weather forecast is wrong and we get full days play for the remainder of the test?

Wouldn't be the first time the weather forecast would be wrong ;)

If it's gonna rain lots then it'll be a draw anyway, so they may as well play as if it's not going to rain.
