DRAFT IS FINISHED

NOTES:
- Each draftee is worth at least $100,000. Those players whom have never played AFL before are worth $100,000
- You can not go over $11,400,000 - so BE CAREFUL WHEN PICKING PLAYERS WITH SALARIES ABOVE $100,000
- Each team has 24 hours to pick, but if you are online during the time of your pick, you only have 2 hours to make that selection (co-coaches need to be wary of this). After this time you'll be auto picked the next available player from the AFL national then rookie drafts, or alphabetically if no AFL draft players remain.
- You can also choose to have a pick automatically selected in advance; which will be the highest AFL draft pick available. If all AFL draft picks are picked, we then go alphabetically from the delisted players.

Purple 77

I've decided that, given the "pure list cloggers" in Patful and Sam Shaw this year, that I will only enforce you to take a 5th rookie only if your salary cap allows you to.

Teams will have no more than 5 rookies, but a minimum of 4.

GoLions

Hopefully at least one non-shower guy slides to R6/7/8 :P

Purps, I've got us having 13 and 49 but you've got us with 13 and 46?

13, 31 and 49, but we traded 31

Ideally I'd prefer if we didn't have to use the second one and just have 4 rookies because cap is tight, but can you explain the difference in 46/49?

Holz

Was 4 rookie always on the cards?

It's quite a big disadvantage to people who cut there team for cap reasons.

I really would have loved to had that 100k buffer when I was getting people in cap.

We were always told we would have 5, possibly 6. Only now it's looking like 4 possibly 5

We can fit 5 because we budgeted for it, but if there is an opportunity to pass the 5th I'd happily take it

It was always gonna be at least 4 rookies, 5 if cap space allows it.

Your pick moved up from 49 to 46 because some teams didn't need to use a couple of their early ones :)

If you have space for a 5th rookie, you must take a 5th rookie. If you don't have space for a 5th rookie, then you'll be fine with 4

Ringo

So in Royals case with plenty of space we can have 6 rookies so a pick in 5th round.

Purps already said no more than 5 rookies

Purple 77

Yep, we will leave just a handful of players undrafted this year, so no more than 5 rookies :) it's kinda because that I felt "well since Sam Shaw and Patfull won't play next year, I shouldn't make people draft them. So now since we have undrafted players, I won't enforce more than 5 rookies"

Take it away Cairo!

Nige

I mean. Only one word needs to be said.

I would happily take no list cloggers.

may have been able to squeeze in Roughy :( if i needed only 4 rookies. Certainly would have kept Mackie

Purple 77

Lol Nige, that was partley why I drafted him last year coz of his name :P
