We kept 3 on our list just so we didn't have to pick 5 new fresh spuds! Those 3 will be gone next year - rinse and repeat  :P

Andrews was strategically on the rookie list, and the rest...

pretty much the same but I upgraded Brophy because im Dublin and i feel i need some irish boys on the list, hence picking up another one this year.

truth is basically this whole draft is 2018 delistings, except Stengle that was a good pick up.

The bloke stuck behind Daniel Rioli and Shai Bolton and who has to work his way off the rookie list? Yeah, I'm not so sure about that. That said, the last small-ish forward that came from our rookie list is now playing back pocket and is arguably best 22.

I think you'll find that Wylie Buzza and Rory Thompson among others won't be delisted then.

Yeah gotta be said that having Jayden Hunt come off of my rookie list this year shows that there's at least some value in the rookie draft - even if it is based more on potential than anything. You never know with some players!

As for Stengle I'll keep my fingers crossed Holz. He has very similar attributes to an Eddie Betts type and bagged loads of goals in the U18 SANFL this year so hopefully he'll come on in the AFL system. Think he's probably more AFL ready than Bolton at this stage tbh.
