Nice team mate.
Love the defensive picks and looks solid all over.
If Sandi fires can see you doing very well.
I see you've nearly reached coach status too... Elxam comp beckons :)

cheers mate, just as long as sandi hits at least 450k he's done the job.
Sounds like a great comp, just had a little read up on it... really good stuff

Which is better?
Option 1:
Beams, Sandilands, Lynch, Ryder
Option 2:
Hannebery, Gawn, (M.White, B.Jack - Both just place holders)

Given that Option 1 has 12 premiums and 3 mid-pricers (Beams, Sandi, Ryder) whereas option two has 13 premiums and not mid-pricers. So 12 100% keepers v 13 of them.

Tom Lynch is an interesting one Fasttrack, priced at 507,200 you're obviously expecting him to be a keeper, which I have him probably just outside the top 10 fwds, though could increase with the added responsibility plus a fit and settled GC mid-field.

Ryder is a marginal pick (who I have in my prelim side), becomes more attractive if you pick Sandilands and loophole through to F6/7 by seasons end.

Beams and Sandi (barring injury) should both make enough money to trade to a fallen premium, with an outside chance each of becoming keepers in their own rights.

Option 1:  More risk (especially injury), more trades likely to finish, though potentially more points early (my guess 110 + 105 + 93 + 93 = 401)

Option 2:  Far safer, potentially less trades, both premiums potential C loophole options (Gawn more so), probably less points on the park early (my guess 114 + 114 + 70 + 65 = 363)

I like the potential reward, so I'd be going Option !

Cheers, who do you think are the 10 guys that'll score more than lynch?

So I'll probably get ridiculed for a number of these but in no particular order

Deledio
Dahlhaus
MacCrae
Greene
Buddy
JJK
Gunston
Harley Bennell (don't laugh  ;) )

I then had Lynch in a group with Cyril, Roughy (dependent on fitness), Paddy, Caddy, and NRoo, pretty much throw a blanket over them

crowls

I like Tom Lynch a lot this year.   Has demonstrated the capacity to score, also feel the addition of captaincy will have him improving ala NRoo as he leads from the front.

Out of buddy, jjk and TL he would be my preferred KPF.  Definitely see him as a top 10 fwd for 2017.    Roughy and NRoo are the other potential KPF worth a crack as part of a strategy.  The objective is to pick them as they begin a run of inform scoring and trade them out at their Peak before the normal dip occurs or vice a  versa.   I just feel it is too hard to pick the timing to make this work.      Therefore a F/M dominant forward line with one KPF and a R/F out of ryder or Nankervis.     I am hoping Nank can do a Gawn or Martin and have a great second half of the season averaging over 100k.

Gigantor

Lynch was a lock for me until I realised GC have the early bye along with Port. If I don't start Ryder he will be in my rd 1 team

Does anyone know how that first bye will work?

I took a look at JJK's early fixture and he could be a really good pick to get things going early on:
North, Saints (H), Tigs, Swans (H), Hawks. (2 decent teams at home and 1 away, then a couple of trash ones away as well)

I'll give you Dahl+Macrae plus Bennell if the bloke is fit (probs Kennedy too)... The rest I doubt it. Only one of the GWS guys will, just aren't enough points for them all. Gunstons scores will drop with hawthorn. Buddy always hard to determine his average (90-110 range). Cyril, Caddy, Nroo all good chances too.

My Top 10 probably:
Dahl
JJK
Macrae
Bennell
Lynch
Buddy
Nroo
Cyril
Caddy
Greene/Lids

Caleb Daniel, Touk Miller, Tom (Adelaide) Lynch, Higgins, Devon Smith, Blake Acres, Isaac Heeney and Jordan DeGoey are guys i won't select but expect to be it the 80s at least - some may push 90+

Miller is a player that warrants keeping an eye on this year.  With another preseason in him more support around the ball to get it out to him, he could improve to 90+.    At best would be a F6 option if I was to start him and will wait and see come first couple of rounds.

Is Elxam open to coach status or 1000 postings. I wanted to join the three way league SC, DT & AF last season (and would finished fifth after leading most of season), but was told need 1000 posts?

Its 1000 posts which gets you to 3 stars coach status... Not just a line coach (Thats my understanding of it)

GoLions

So it's effectively:

Hanners, Gawn, White, Turner vs Beams, Sandi, Lynch, Nank

I'm personally not a fan of the Nank pick, as I can't see him taking the #1 ruck spot from Hampson, and won't score well enough as the #2 ruck (if the Tigs even go with 2 ruckmen). Hence why I'd go with option 1.

There is still obviously some value in Beams and Sandi though, so if you swapped Nank for someone like Clugg and then upgraded another basement rookie to someone like Taranto, SPS, etc (basically any top-end rookie), then I'd be leaning towards that.

Money Shot

Feel like the "mid pricers" you have selected are good. However guns and rookies will always be safer ;)
