$51,300 left in the bank

On Cripps, even if it is a 3 month injury i want to see more news on him before i rule him out of my side. Was my first picked before I saw his injury, now just a waiting game.  :'(

Hi FT welcome to 2017 teams mate.    A real Guns n Rookies approach for your team until you get to the forward line.  What is your rationale for Nankervis over Ryder?

Having Elliot and Bennell in team leaves you exposed.  What are you expecting Elliot to avg for 2017?

Nankervis over Ryder is on the basis that he plays No.1 Ruck... He dominated in Tac Cup (AVE: 122 supercoach points) and in the State carnival (AVE: 157 supercoach points) which shows he's a real prolific supercoach scorer if given that. Some of his stats in 71% TOG is encouraging as well playing in a R/F role

I think Elliot will go absolute minimum of 70, with a full preseason under his belt he'll be back to around where he was...
Personally i see bennell as a similar risk to beams.... considering beams missed 44 games in the last 4 years bennell missing 41.

Alternative to my first side, little bit safer and generic in a sense... but I kind of like it.

Love my backs and forwards (Ryder and Nank will have a rotation throughout my teams), mids probably 1 premo off what i'd like (Upgrade on Beams), still dubious about Sandi but he makes sense.

Nice team - just a cautious note on Rocky to observe his attitude given the dramas of this year. (Buddy saga springs to mind)
Know rookies are not set but would nor start with Barrett as he is on rookie list so will need to be elevated - Perfect downgrade target when elevated though,

Cheers ringo, its a worry for me too... bont/hanners probably the other two im considering. If i hear good things from lions and rockliff then im definitely going to start him though

Tbh any team with Tommy J and the GOAT will get the nod of approval from me :P

Rocky strikes me as the kind of guy who will give 110% regardless, has been one of just a handful of players who has performed for us week in, week out, for the last 2-3 years tbh.

For information Rocky appears a lot trimmer than this time last year.  Remember the comments that people thought he was overweight. So based on that observation would say he will commit 100% and will see for myself next Monday at training.

That's what I like to hear, hopefully the new coach sees him as a part of their future and not trade bait!

Latest Update:

22k left

In: Scharenberg, T.Mitchell, T.Nankervis
Out: B.Vince, Brodie, P.Ryder

I think most of my team is pretty self explanatory....

DEF: Montagna and Adams are absolute gifts from the supercoach people, Laird is only 22-23 he can take it to another level... Rest are just place-holders

MID: Danger, Pendles, Rocky, Fyfe, Beams are guys everyone will start with and will shift heaven and earth to get in if they don't. You won't get an opportunity to afford a midfield like this with no sacrifice many times. Normally you'd pay 620k+ for each of these guys each season. Tom Mitchell is a fantasy pig, wont take him much to lift his score to 110+ at the hawks! Rookies are placeholders again.

RUC: Same as everyone else pretty much, both underpriced... gives me a chance to suss out the top ruckman! Stranadica is a must have if you want the loophole, for those wanting to know he has only 3 games which would be tough to loophole with but none of those are friday/thursday night games (only early saturday games)... Rest are late saturday or sunday games.

FWD: Generic again, not many options here... Buddy, Cyril are probably the other two I'm considering. Nankervis i reckon will score similarly to ryder. In 2-3 years he will be one of the "Locks" in the rucks. For now if he gets no.1 ruck role, he will average minimum 80 which works for me as he will end up F7/R3 (Last year went 75 points from 71% TOG).

- Going to TRY and stick to this until Christmas atleast, hopefully NY and beyond (Certainly not against being convinced otherwise though!)   ;D

Nice looking team man

I'm a fan of the Titch pick but I don't get all the hype about Nank just yet - bit too early but we'll see how he goes in the preseason

I know they're only place holders, but get rid of Ahern - did his knee again not long ago

Cheers dude!
Nank is a gut feeling one...
2015 : Macmillan 280k (didn't pick him - average 85)
2016 : Zerrett <500k (didn't pick him - average 110)

He's got the scorin ability going off his TAC and State carnival averages and if he's given no.1 role with a pinch hitter I feel he'd be worth 366k... All circumstantial though!

enzedder

Nice team mate.
Love the defensive picks and looks solid all over.
If Sandi fires can see you doing very well.
I see you've nearly reached coach status too... Elxam comp beckons :)
