He'll last another 2 games and twang his hammy off the bone. Put it this way...the chances of him playing a full season are about 5%

sorry i might be cynical, after all these years, right now starting higgings was a great move, i dont have him in anything but those who do well done and may your good fortune continue.

I'm loving having Higgins in my team.

Great POD and scoring awesome due t playing as a pure mid.

Was a no brainer choice to start with for IMO.  8)

famous last words....

this is higgings we are talking about his emoji is a bandaid :)

I had Higgins a few years ago when he could be picked as a Defender/Forward and he gunned it all year!

This is the year to start with or jump onto Higgins again I reckon. :)

I think Robbo made a very good point in that you probably shouldn't bring him in if you didn't start him...

Your round 1 team should be the one where you take risks on injury prone players..then you make your correctional trades on the players that won't break out. Seems fraught with danger to be adding layers of risk to your team once the season has begun.

I'd go with Yeo at a cheaper price and less injury risk

If I had the choice of Higgins or Yeo, I'd be picking Higgins every single time, regardless of injury risk.

rough against gold coast could ton up or nank vs giles????

Roughead is going to MONSTER gold coast....of all weeks to trade him out, this would not be the one. Watch his avg go to 95, which is what everyone was expecting him to be on

Holz

certainly wouldn't trade out roughy. If you picked him you should have known he was going to come out rusty. He hasnt played for a while and is coming back from a serious illness.

add on to that his midfield brigade has changed dramatically round 1 he had no Hodge Mitchell lewis kicking it to him. Tom Mitchell and JOM starting to kick into gear and now hodgey is back.

He is kicking goals with 4.3 over 2 games. A 82 is pretty decent all he had to do was kick 3.1 instead of 2.2 and he would have been locking at around a 90 score.

I know people are desperate to pick up a Murphy Yeo Higgins etc.. but not worth it.

i dumped Tom Lynch from GC who is averaging pretty much the same but for 500k and that was to get a premo in Bont. Would only trade out roughy if it nets you a uber premo.

I predict a dog of a score. He gets tired after the first quarter. The promised midfield minutes are all but non-existent. If anything I think he's pushed himself at about his limit atm. But it's not really a SC friendly limit. The only way is down. Even if he does gun it against GC he will have typical KPP shockers and his body is still a question mark. Punting him.

You're allowed to trade out one mistake, Lynch was yours, Roughy is mine.

Reset the poll at the beginning of the thread....
Are you going to trade Roughead out?
Personally I'm leaning towards doing it.
Higgins playing midfield means he will just keep on scoring well. Time to get him is now. He'll be another 100k in 3 weeks and is looking like being one of the top forwards.

Everyone talking about trading rough & JOM...I just don't see them as being that BIG of an issue that they warrant a trade after rd 2. They both have high ceilings and they'll both continue to improve as the season goes on

And they are both playing the worst team in the comp next week  ::)
