It comes down to WHE vs Roughie for me, as I don't have a spare 100k lying around in order to upgrade Eddy. Here's why I'm erring on the side of a trade this week.

* Roughie isn't a top 6 forward, I think it's pretty clear that there will be about a 10 point difference between the top 10 forwards  and Roughie's eventual average.

* Hawthorn may even miss the finals this year, they are a shell of the side that dominated a couple of years ago.

* Coming back from chemo has to alter the body chemistry to some degree, it is debatable whether Roughie will ever come back to full fitness.

* WHE will be 300k in two weeks with a pair of 70's

* The 160k will be very handy as guys like Hanners look like tumbling in price.
Exactly what I'm thinking Bully with Roughy not being a top 5 or 6 fwds so the 160k will come in handy trading to WHE. Can get rid of Eddy too but thinking of Bowes too with a poor score and Bowes to Butler as the 2nd correctional trade will get me close to 210k in bank, so can pounce on someone like Hanners.

I'm trading him to Higgins. Absolute gun when fit. Worth the risk.

Go murphy over higgins...WAY better upside and WAY more durability!

Kelly looks really good but he's faded from games for bits and pieces...Oliver is going beast mode so I'd be more likely to jump on him. Still question marks over Kelly's output once coniglio returns

but kelly has had a few more years in the system and i think conigs isnt due back till mid year! oliver could just be having a purple patch!

very valid points

crowls

murphy looks like 110+.   Oliver is a beast but at his age can he maintain the rage for the year or fade as some stage.

Higgins is a gun when fit but not worth the trade. If you were going to take the risk on Higgins you needed to start him IMO. Bringing in an injury risk player after a couple of good games is bad news for me... Could easily slump back to earth next week with a sub 80 and/or get injured..
The only other upside I see in bringing in Higgins is he has a good bye... Not for me..

I'm loving having Higgins in my team.

Great POD and scoring awesome due to playing as a pure mid.

Was a no brainer choice to start with for IMO.  8)
