About time he got a run!

What is Daniel Lloyd JS as GWS going to be?    Looking for an alternative to Myers that has a potential catchup benefit (POD).

I like that he is a mature age rookie with a season under him.   Just GWS are such a strong outfit I doubt how long he can stay in the team.    has R13 bye same as Myers and probably Perryman in a couple of weeks.

He has only played 1 game, if he is impressive this week as well then most people will grab both Myers and Lloyd, and probably Perryman as well if he is scoring decently and JS is looking good. So don't see him being beneficial in a "catchup/pod" sense. Grab Myers this week, have another week to look at Lloyd.

Yeah,  you're right GL.     Need a slow burner that takes off after 3 games.   Will end up with Myers this week and have gone Hibberd over Shaw/Howe.    still 3 DEF prems required so will wait and try and get someone bottoming out.

Fremantle second-year player Harley Balic has been granted an indefinite leave of absence from the club.

“The club and Harley have agreed that it is in his best long-term interest to take a leave of absence to deal with a personal issue,” General manager of football operations Chris Bond said.

“As we do with all of our players, we will continue to provide Harley with all the support and resources that he requires.

“Harley has acquitted himself well in four games for Fremantle since making his debut in round three this season and we look forward to his future contribution to the club.”

There will be no further comment from the club on this matter.

Sounds like a mental health issue, could be a long time out of the game.

I'm quite happy that we're seeing more of this in recent times.  Getting rid of the macho old fashioned attitude.  Give players the time and space they need to sort out their personal stuff.

Harley B's seem to be having a tough time in Freo.

Looks like Balic wil be a loophole until i get a round that doesnt require a downtrade.
