Duno about you lot but all of a sudden I don't feel prepared to get the best available rookies.

I don't have:
WHE (must have?)
SPS (might have to let him go)
BUTLER (he handy enough scoring wise)
HANNAN (considering picking him this round)

I have:
Otten(he dropped next week I think barring injury)
Hibberd(surely he gets dropped this week?)
Taranto(would wanna perform other easily becomes WHE i guess)
Simpkin(won't score well at all could become Hannan this week)
Parfitt(he is solid and think cockatoo out keeps him in the side he will play but not sure on scoring)
Pickett(is pus)
Barrett(will be fine)
Stewart(fine)

WHE is a must so I'll get him next week

And then I'll probably grab one of Butler or Hannan, but if Hannan comes out and scores 60 then I don't mind if i miss out on both tbh - they're not musts, but if Eddy and Pickett score shower again then I will trade one of them to one of Butler/Hannan

Happy to hold Otten and Hibberd til the week after at least - Newman, Long etc could be options later

No nee to panic at all

Not so much panic but I'm in a highly disadvantaged position I feel for cash generation.

If you were to trade anyone this week to pick up one of these rookies who would you be going for?

Reckon you have to hold because WHE and Butler have already played

Don't worry about SPS, and need to wait on Hannan

Next week you can do Taranto to WHE if Taranto doesn't do well this week, then Simpkin to Butler/Hannan

Mat0369

I mentioned this earlier, the Swans were the number 1 defense last year with guys like Grundy and Rampe in AA form. It was never going to be a great game for Eddy. This week if he makes the cut he comes up against Zac Dawson. Lock and load

The issue is.
If Taranto kills it I'll Want to keep him. Which means how do I get Simpkin to whe

So forwards are looking better.   What about down back.   Without McGrath the backline rookies look very thin.
Also keen on steele.     Only way to get WHE Steele and mcGrath will be to downgrade goldy to Witts.      Also will need to do one trade this week.
Am I mad?

Yes

You should have Hampton at D5, so McGrath is certainly not a must.

People need to chill - most rookies have only played 1 game!

Hampton will look beetter at D6 if McGrath has another 80 + game this week though RD.

I will be getting him in next week if that happens for Hibberd and moving Otten to the bench (McGrath D5)  8)

Thanks RD.
Hampton is at D5.   Saw the benefit of Hibberd over the past two days as he enable me to drop fwds and get def and vice versa.  So wont be dropping him unless there is a good option.    Probably prefer to wait for Ben Long.  Though dont want to have no cover down back if Hibberd and Otten both get dropped.    Can wait for next week.   ATM WHE is more important to get than McGrath.

If JOM has another poor game he's out for WHE who is a must now. Second correction trade will depend on how McGrath goes and whether to bring in Butler for Pickett/Parfitt/Eddy.

WHE is not a must IMO. He kicked 3 in the last quarter that padded his score. He would only have had 80 without them. You will get short term cash, but lose ut on valuable trades.

_wato

GHS to WHE next week.

WHE averaging 108, he will make a truck ton of cash and is playing a friendly role.

Not sure on my other trade yet.

Gavdroid

Probably Ramsay to McGrath and GHS/Taranto to WHE for me next week, and hope Cripps doesnt stink again

Ok I am Seriously considering trading out JOM myself to SPS ... this would allow me to get hoskin in for Simpkin next week and give me 100k to potentially pick up mcgrath in defense if he killed it again.

Then I can play hoskin and bowes on field forward 2 of SPP SPS and Taranto in mids when a loophole no playinf mid rookie is present and play 1 of Stewart or mcgrath each week loopholing for when otten gets dropped .

CraZy?

Goosey

75 R1 was OK, but 60 this week means I probably need to look at Ramsay to McGrath at D5.

Thing to worry about with Hannan, he is named on an extended bench with Kent and Ben Kennedy. If Kent is ready he could be in next week for Hannan if he has a poor one. I would hold off a week on that one.

Mate of mine who is a die hard Dee reckons Kent and Tyson come in for Vince and Smith, but then obviously Vince returns the week after so wait and see. Wouldn't be grabbing Hannan this week that's for sure

Yeah definitely Mat's advice here. However I don't see Kent coming in this week as we need to add another defender in our line up. Probably Harmes IMO.
