If he performs poorly I can trade him out as a correction, which is a lot easier than trying to bring him in at his price
But trading him out requires that someone is available under his price to trade in (Which may not be the case), trading him in prior to his first price rise IMO is much easier if you have your team set up correctly

RaisyDaisy

Just because he didn't play a JLT and walks in doesn't mean much really

He was their first round pick - was always going to walk into that 22 as long as fit

I reckon Florent might get a good run at it just like their previous first round picks Mills and Heeney have

Gigantor

I think back to Lewis Taylor when he started, unsighted in the preseason, named round one, ended up playing 22 matches

mountford? confirmed for north
Would be concerns on his JS with Cunnington back round 2

Probably no better or worse than guys like Parfitt, Houston, Butler etc

Likewise Brayshaw (but played 21 matches)

Everrrrry year haha, always happens. Some will perform well and keep their spot. Some will benefit from others injuries along the way.
Plenty of luck involved in nailing the right rookies

100%, I reckon this is one of the toughest years though. All the speculative picks around the low priced rookies and then there's genuine solid JS options but they're all north of $200k.

Gotta work out who's worth it and who's not... That's what's killing me atm

Definitely. No real science in it but take the plunge and see how it goes. Gotta back your premium selections and go from there.

That's why we have 2 correction trades.
