Seriously considering SPS for M8.

M7 for me at the moment, traded out Swallow. Problem is I now have 140k and no where to use it haha

traded out a great stepping stone for a rookie with no JLT form. risky man!

SPS has great JS. thats about all we know.

Rookies don't get picked with no pre-season games if they are spuds.

LMAO. ...it's Carlton we're talking about here...and I barrack for them!! Lol. We are improving but let's face it we couldnt get much worse! We need better recruiting and despite people raving about SOS he hasn't done much at this stage to prove himself IMO. just about any of us could have chosen a bunch of the best young talent at GWS. Was happy with what he orchestrated last year but this year we've still got spuds in boekhurst and Simon white whilst the recruitment of smedts and palmer is very debatable. For some reason we have this obsession in recruiting 'classy' players as opposed to players who can just get the ball which is our first need. all well and good to go for them if you have midfield depth but we clearly haven't. This year for example the player for us to pick was will brodie. Time will tell and send. I said years ago the bulldogs model is the way to go. Much easier to buy established key position players later once midfields sorted. We still have minimal A graders to run through and rotate. Anyway, I guess I'm still venting and not looking forward to our inevitable season!  Lol

What's killing me is D7/D8. If I start Marchbank at D3 I don't think I can find 2 guys to start on the bench. It means I either need to swap Roughy for Bob Murphy (which I don't really want to do) or try and figure a way to get someone like Taylor Adams back in my team.

Yup. Swallow at M8 with O'Meara at M7 and Beams at M6. If I drop one of my mid premos down it will fix the issue but I can't decide what to do.

I think that I say this with my common defensive structure in mind, eg. 3 x 500k+, 1 mid pricer and two rookies plus 2 x becnh rookies. Having the mid pricer at D3 just seems too risky.

Have since changed to this myself. Just didn't like the look of Butler/Eddy on bench so Butler goes

Pickett/Eddy is forward bench with DPP in mid bench so Pickett and mids can swing around
