nic newman had 31 touches 7 marks on weekend

Surely he comes back in next week?  ::)
It astounds me that AFL coaches don't refer to your SC team on a weekly basis prior to team selection.
;D

Mat0369

Isn't 31 touches in the NEFL like getting 12 in the VFL?

Yep weaker competition and as an aside neither Newman or Florent were named amongst the best 6 Sydney players.

was against gws 2nd's there not that bad are they?

Ringo

GWS, Sydney, Lions and Suns have teams in NEAFL. So it is strong in that regard. From Memory think Rules limit number of Senior listed players that can be included in teams.

Mat0369

GWS have a few injury and nowhere near the depth they had so probably not that good either.

They'll probably pull a Port Adelaide and throw someone different in there as I believe King is still injured.

Mat0369

I think Cam Pedersen is still on their list.

Just checked the injury list and Mitch King was listed as 'available', would be handy if they go for him.

I would be astounded if Goodwin picked King over Pederson, Watts and Pedo should share the duties and can rotate forward

Purple 77

Goodwin has an anti-Pedersen policy, so there is hope for King.

But nah there isn't really, King literally just came off his return game from a year out of the AFL, he's ages away.

Expect anyone else other than Pedersen to ruck, maybe even Dean Kent.

As long as it doesn't injure him, I'll allow it
