Betts said that Hampton is "dominating in the midfield" and will get plenty of time in the JLT

Perfect, let's hope he can smash out some big games in the JLT!

JONAS: Sam Powell Pepper is ready to play and he'll be putting his hand up to play in Round 1. He'll be exciting to watch this preseason.

Yeah him and Wines are known as the bash brothers, would not surprise me at all if he started in the guts Round 1
I've shuffled my team so he's now starting on field. Him and Myers will deffs be very good scoring rookie priced players.

Yep, as much as I want to go super super strong in the mids, I think it's best to have 2 mids (SPP and Myers) on field, plus another 3 cows on the bench, and then spread the prems around other lines

Keen on tgat too! Apart from Barrett, not seeing many cheap mid rookies at this stage. Hopefully jlt changes that

Outside of Myers and pepper and assuming Bowes is picked forward name me 3 rookie mids who people think are a realistic chance of playing?

I reckon it gets very bare after those.

Barrett is about a 1% chance of lining up round 1, if that :P

I can't see 3 bench rookies that will play.

Yeah, slim at this stage.  But they usually pop up from no where.  I'm prepared for the worst case tho ;)

Barrett next best chance. I think Zac Fisher is also a chance.  Mitch Hibberd who is DEF as well.  Matty White if you want to go $$$

Bolton?

read that he struggled with the pace of the game in the intraclub match, which if true would mean hes a long way off. Graham from the tiges might be a chance though if his hammy is right

Rusty00

Nathan Freeman if his hammys hold up? Will probably be eased into it though given his injury history.

Ringo

Jack Graham from Richmond is a chance as well. Do not overlook the DPP Forwards as well McLuggage, Galluci, Picket, Bowes, Ainsworth and Bolton all with DPP. Scott today said Kayne Turner should play most games so there is another forward to throw into the mix.

RaisyDaisy

I've got Myers, Graham and Pickett on the bench atm

Every year we get concerned at this time, and every year enough pop up

Barrett, Freeman, Hibberd, Balic have to be chances, even if low. Then the expensive rookies are there too

And echoing what Ringo said:

Nth Melbourne: "He'll play the majority of the season if he's not injured" Brad Scott on Kayne Turner
