So I'm getting impatient waiting for the team picker so I updated my spreadsheet based on the info given out today (I'm a nerd and Fanplanner is woefully inaccurate :) )

I would love to have this structure, obviously the availability of rookies is the biggest hurdle. If need be I could potential save some coin starting Hibberd and if I'm really stuck taking a punt on Sandi in the ruck is another option

Like Darcy Cameron $117k for the R/F DPP.  However Sydneys Draw does not allow much wriggle room for loophole if also using him for the loophole.

Haven't really looked at that yet but you are right, no Sunday games in the first 6 rounds for Sydney would probably turn me off him

Got the exact same structure and players picked except for one hahaha so looks good to me

crowls

Nice structure  13 keepers and one cash cow,    lot of cash in that defence to pricey for mine.   I will be taking only Docherty of that lot and looking in the 450-500k range as well as Hibberd.

Like you I prefer fwd/mids and dahl and jack should be solid performers.    Ryder will be another popular pick especially if he gets to ruck alone.

in the mids i will look at bont (or cripps before his injury) before hannebury

No 1 Ruck team for 2016 will repeat the effort again and not really worth considering other options unless desperate and short of cash.

Look at Freos Strnadacia as they have a great number of late games and 15k cheaper

In other words, change everything :P

Gigantor

Doch, Shaw, Rance, McGrath, Scrimshaw, Sharenburg (V-Wills, Ryan)
Danger, Pendles, JPK, Treloar, Bont, Fyfe, Brodie, Myers (Clarke, Mutch, Scheer)
Goldy, Sandi (Strnadica)
Dahl, T.Lynch, Luggage, Ainsworth, Bowes, Shoenmakers, (Drew, Eddy)

114k left

Just saving my team before the picker closes :)

Closest to pure GnR I've had so far. Sandi the only mid-pricer

Strong in defense as I'm not convinced on a lot of the other options, Weak in the forwards due to potential rookie glut. If enough cheap rookies start will look to bring Ryder in at F3 (will probably swap Lynch for Mcrae if that happens due to round 9 bye)

#8
Doch, Shaw, Laird, Marchbank, Hampton, Otten, (EVW, Stewart)
Danger, Pendles, Treloar, Fyfe, Beams, JOM, Swallow, Horlin-Smith (SPP, Pickett, Miles)
Ryder, Sandi (Witts)
NRoo, Dahl, Buddy, WHE, Taranto, Eddy (Turner, Parfitt)

13K left

Edit: Forgot Swallow and originally posted with 7 mids  :-[

Horlin-Smith is an interesting pick considering his price. The opportunity is there with Caddy gone so he should be able to go and help out in the middle now. I don't know if I prefer him to Swallow but it could pay off.

Ryder at R1 is pretty risky for a couple of reasons. You need to take into account his bye week, especially with Witts also in the side. Both have an early bye where it is best 22 not best 18 on the field. I also think Ryder will be fairly inconsistent and you might be able to grab him a bit cheaper hopefully after his bye.

One guy you mentioned about being best 25 is Petrevski-Seton. He is quite pricey though and you do lose out on a potential downgrade target down the track but he is the one I would go with. I do like the team though and I think you have picked the right premiums. NRoo and Buddy have a really good history and guys like Laird and Treloar could even improve a fair bit on last season so I like the picks.

Just a couple of comments

What are your plans for Rd 9 when both Ryder and Witts have the bye - Are you planning on moving one or both out.

Also think Nroo is overpriced as a result of his 200 in final game last year. Should be able to get him cheaper.  However your choice and go with gut.

Horlin Smith as Matt says an interesting choice over Swallow so hope it pays off for you.

Solid structure though.

Lol i missed a midfielder :) I do have Swallow, GHS is pricey but has good JS and has the potential to make 150k. Would consider him if the rookie situation was better but deperate times calls for thinking outside the box. If enough def or fwd rookies pop up I'll downgrade a premo and turn GHS into Jelwood/JPK.

Plan with rucks is to downgrade Witts to a DPP, move Ryder to the forward line and bring in Gawn/Goldy. Risky and I might wuss out next week but for now I'll sit on it. Not to worried about the rd9 bye, should be able to make back any lost points in the main byes. He is already fairly cheap, if he falls below 400k it means he is spudding up so you wouldn't trade him in. I think he could go 90-100 where as I see Nank in the 80-90 range.

Every premo drops in price but you have to pick them. I don't like many of the other forward options , pretty confident he will be top 5 so worth the investment.

Bully

Worth noting that NRoo also had an injury affected 45 in round 11.
