Hibberd and Murphy out for Joey and Tmac.   Less risk and more reliability.      Howe out due to cash and increase mid depth, may swap Adams to Howe.   Rookies are placeholders with preference given to mature age rooks,  Mature Age rooks have proven to be better choices for SC scoring and JS.


Mid is full of premo's.   and injured prems returning.   
Ruck is no 1. ruck duo with Ryder as F3 ruck coverage.   
Fwds,  very confident Dahl and TL will be in top 6 SC forwards at year end.     


Overall this feels a better balanced team than no 5.

Like the Tmac pick, killed the back half of last year, could be a decent smokey to start the year as I don't think many people will start him.

Mids are good, nothing to say there.

Rucks fine.

Lynch is my mannnnnn, don't think I'll be able to start him this year though haha, but damn, I love him so much <3

Cash in hand also good, means you can probably bring in at least one of McGrath/Ainsworth if needed for round 1 :)

Thanks for the feedback GL.    Yeh Lynch is awesome and in my opinion probably best KPF alongside Buddy.    Hope GCS have a decent year.   Not a fan of Rocket and this year I think I he has the makings of a decent team.   
Looking forward to the pre season games kicking off.     


Would like to fit McGrath, Ainsworth, Brodie in and just need to wait to see who gets a start come round 1.    As usual will be looking for my 102k rookie listed gun to make a shower load for me.  Just do not know who it wil be this year.

Roughy as a keeper is a real stretch for me, sadly i don't think he will be the same again. Grundy will lose a lot of points from goldstein as well... you'll proabably be trying desperately to trade him to goldy around the bye period.

Very well ballanced team though, would definitely stick with it

Thanks FT.   May look at downgrading Roughy or Ryder if I need more cash for an upgrade.   Quietly confident in Grundy at the moment.   Sandi was just too good a value.   Now he has an interuppted preseason I am off him.  Swallow, Myers and Roughy are really the only discounted players I am starting that are returning from injury.   low risk approach

Great suggestion, big fan of Bennell and if fit, will be a top 4 fwd.   only got 20k left so would need to juggle rookies but certainly possible.

You could go ultra safe and Sandi to Goldi but do not mind the 2 suggestions you have.

Yes it is difficult to stop emotion overiding rational thought.   History says possibly one of Beams, Swallow and O'Meara will be a keeper the others upgrades at best and high prob one will get injured early and need trading.   The question is which one does what?     For me swallow is the one I am leaving out at the moment.


Depending on Nank performance I lean towards Cameron to Nank as need more mid rookies for cash generation.  Pickett not a likely starter for Carlton and ? on Hibberd at North as well.


Goldy still has ???? in my mind over how Pruess will be used and impact on scoring and TOG.    Grundy is logical breakout ruck this year and I dont mind waiting until mid season to decide on it. Or whenever Sandi gets injured.    5pts diff cf sandi and goldy in scoring at best for half the price.
