bit of a waste for Latham, strangled down the leg side

1/13

Gigantor

From out of the team to captain, bit of a turn around by Finch haha

Bill Manspeaker

I completely missed the fact Handscomb is keeping haha

dropped Guptill there, finger tipper over his head. nearly knocked it on for 6. ball was flying

Bill Manspeaker

Stoinis on and picks up Williamson in his first over!

2/87

Ringo

Just seen the measurements for this ground and no wonder the rate is 6 per over,  Feel for the bowlers.

The straight drives are 54m and 58m and the onside legside boundaries are less than 70metres. Maxi will have a field day if on song.

#125
Maxy misses his 3rd run out chance in the same over

how I miss the days of Ponting...Symonds...Clarke

these were the days

Bill Manspeaker

Stoinis the destroynis! big wicket of Guptill

4/130

Head should have his 2nd. another drop by Handscomb, pretty regulation that one. not good enough unfortunately

Stoinis gets his 3rd though

Ringo

Yep Handscomb showing his inadequacies keeping to spin (has also allowed byes) and from reports Wade looks like being out for 2nd ODI.

Bill Manspeaker

geez Cummins is unlucky. top edges going for 4, bottom edges for 4, drop catches

just a bit of luck for Sir Paddy please

gr3at catch Maxy. Paddy finally gets a bit of luck with Santner picking out the fielder

Ringo

Call me old fashioned if you like but when we played cricket, with no roped boundaries in place, we could take a catch whilst leaning on the boundary fence and it was out. So rules have changed in favour of batsmen. In my humble opinion unless whole body is over the rope catch should be awarded.  Lets face it on most grounds if no rope was in play it would have been caught anyway,

good final over for NZ

bout ready for a nap. damn these day games
