Just read that and thought his batting this year was as good as early years.  Saved us a number of times. A lot will have to go our way to make the finals though and with wet weather predicted for all days will be difficult.

Well done on an excellent career Chris and shame you did not get that Aussie call up you deserved.

Some substance to it with the injuries we see fast bowlers having. Worked well previously and law brought in to protect batsmen from bowlers who took a huge delivery Stride and launched deliveries accordingly. Reversion back would also make it easier for umpires as they would only have to watch backfoot to ensure it was behind line. About time we brought some benefits back to Bowlers. However quite a few spinners may have to adjust looking at some tapes.

My thoughts exactly PB - Hartley is only 34. Rod Marsh was 37 when he retired so I thought with Hartley in the form he is in he should continue.

It is extremely dark here at the moment big storm clouds threatening as well so may not be too much more play today as weather is coming in from coast.

Well the finals spot was ours but we've decided to blow it.

Unfortunately the tassie players are playing for something bigger than a final spot. And that is a contract for next season ;D

What a collapse by Qld. Pattinson on fire 5/7.  To be fair conditions after yesterdays storm and todays humidity really suit bowlers but still no excuse for the 7/32.

Chris Hartley the only Qld player to reach double figures and he is not out. Please Chris reconsider your retirement.
