Efficiency so bad for us! I guess when you have 12 and 10 player to pick from across the last 2 weeks it isn't easy.

Onto next round! Legitimately considering dropping Fergy (although Renshaw out on test duty might save him! Lucky I didn't lose Patterson as well!)

6 of you still have teams to name for Round 4, it begins tomorrow so be quick!

I can see you're all super keen for the live scores by all the posts in this thread. So here we go:

Live Update: Stumps Day 2
WA Swans [0-3, 5 players] - 182 (Labuschagne 99)
vs
Q Koalas [1-2, 6] - 522 (Head 360, Burns 88)
Koalas captain Travis Head comes to the party, the Swans have 5 players this week but they aren't matching it so far. Koalas looking good to go 2-2.

T Devils [2-1, 5] - 403 (Henriques 165, Cooper 137)
vs
V Possums [2-1, 6] - 415 (Tremain 224, Weatherald 108)
The tightest game at the moment. The Devils would be ruing the captain selection of Cutting over Henriques. The Possums have done alright at the selection table this round it seems, Chris Tremain will need a big 2nd innings to keep their points ticking. I pick the Possums

ACT Cockatoos [2-1, 4] - 490 (Nevill 269, Boland 182)
vs
SA Wombats [3-0, 6] - 307 (Wildermuth 117, Swepson 79)
The undefeated Wombats are in trouble! A 4 man Cockatoo outfit has come out swinging and Peter Nevill has shown he can score runs. The Wombats have the numbers advantage, we'll see if they can peg back this deficit. I think ACT have built a fair lead, I tip them from here.

NSW Platypuses [2-1, 6] - 269 (Patterson 101, Agar 132)
vs
NT Kangaroos [0-3, 6] - 443 (Finch 152, Bancroft 118, Copeland 114)
NSW have the worst efficiency, and the only reason it'll get better this round is because no one on their roster has done anything spectacular to date. Agar holds the key to their comeback. Kangaroos have a lead but are down for 5 with Behrendorff getting injured. Cam Bancroft appears to have taken his final chance with both hands. Kangaroos from here

There was a time I thought Behrendorff was a good idea. Thank god Copeland and Finch bailed me out.

And Bancroft can live too......for now

Round 4 Results
WA Swans 445 defeated by Q Koalas 759
WA Best: Labuschagne (154), Marsh (144), Conway (120)
QLD Best: Head (252 x2 = 504), Faulkner (2370 [not named], Burns (116)
The Swans found themselves as the 2nd lowest scoring team this week, an achievement for them as this has been another dirty season for them so far. Mitch Marsh provided a nice score, and Marnus Labuschagne looks to have cemented his place in the Bulls batting lineup. The Koalas can thank Travis Head for their score, no one else did much and he lifted them to the Koalas 2nd win of the season.

T Devils 696 defeated by V Possums 783
TAS Best: Henriques (171), Richardson (162), Cooper (138)
VIC Best: Tremain (165 x2 = 330), Neser (270) [not named], Harper (186) [not named]
I could go on with the Possums they had 7 players pass 100 this round, but only named 3 of them (Turner was 1 run short on two occasions from making it 8 past the ton for the week). Thankfully for them they did enough to get past a 5 man Devils side who put up a good fight with 3 of their 5 passing 130, and the other 2 combining for 139. The Possums certainly seem like the team to catch this season, if they put their best team on the park each week.

ACT Cockatoos 736 defeated SA Wombats 705
ACT Best: Nevill (289), Boland (123 x2 = 246), Holland (169)
SA Best: Wildermuth (174), Swepson (170), Hartley (126)
An agonising loss for the Wombats who fall just short of remaining undefeated. They wouldn't have expected only 5 points from star batsman George Bailey, his selection being the downfall. ACT for the 2nd week running had less then 6 players and didn't name someone they could've named (In this case Rainbird's 61 is unused). This week they get over the line thanks to the best keeper-batsman in Australia Peter Nevill re-gaining his form and racking up 289 points for the Cockatoos.

NSW Platypuses 415 defeated by NT Kangaroos 974
NSW Best: Patterson (127), Somerville (122) [not named], Doran (116) [not named], Agar (94 x2 = 188)
NT Best: Copeland (308), Finch (205), Cartwright (174), Bancroft (172)
BratPack nails selection this week (bar captaincy) and as such put up the highest score of the week. Trent Copeland is looking very good and is a maiden collecting machine (24 maidens this week!). With the Redbacks having a down game this lead to a low score for the Platypuses, Ferguson, Carey, Lehmann, Zampa combining for only 100 points. NT get on the board for the year, NSW are in the pack.

Ladder

Very very tight throughout, only 3 rounds to go some teams are going to be unlucky to miss the 4!

Efficiency
If only we lived in a perfect world... Well now we can fantasize over what it would look like!

Best Possible score Round 4:
NT Kangaroos 1307
NSW Platypuses 736
WA Swans 587
SA Wombats 882
T Devils 781
ACT Cockatoos 963
V Possums 1277
Q Koalas 1011

Overall Efficiency
SA Wombats 81.81
WA Swans 79.88
ACT Cockatoos 79.88
T Devils 78.75
Q Koalas 74.03
V Possums 71.60
NT Kangaroos 68.62
NSW Platypuses 51.62

Available Assets
V Possums 43
SA Wombats 41
NSW Platypuses 41
NT Kangaroos 35
Q Koalas 29
T Devils 28
ACT Cockatoos 23
WA Swans 18

Round 5 Fixtures (Monday 5th December)
Q Koalas vs T Devils
WA Swans vs ACT Cockatoos
V Possums vs NSW Platypuses
SA Wombats vs NT Kangaroos

This round of fixtures are very important. As The T20 comp has HGA, the ladder positions that each team sits in after Round 5 of FC contribute to the amount of HGA a team starts with, and as 1st can technically find a way to fall to 5th after this week, it's a vital round.

Andrews!  :D
Paper today says Grant will play and 4 seam attack. With no Head to bowl spin I can't see it happening so name him anyway.

All the squads should be about, feel free to find them yourselves I'll post them up here tonight. Games start tomorrow so teams are due. Also the T20 Auction begins tomorrow morning, get pumped :)
