And in comes Labuschagne to the crease. Could be up to 22 overs left, might only be 5 minutes before they call it off.
I think we are going to fall just short.
9 runs to go (assuming he remains not out!)
Is this counting Conways catch or not?
His catch won't count.

Round 7 Results: I'm sorry, what just happened?
Q Koalas 996 defeated NSW Platypuses 518
QLD best: Joe Bruns 556 (c), Milenko 206, Steketee 123
NSW best: Somerville 291 [not named], Patterson 216 (c), Zampa 140 [not named], Moody 139, Lehmann 135 [not named]
Burns goes big, gets QLD the win and the TOTW award, they almost got the perfect week too. The same can't be said for the Platypuses who's season of selection dramas continued. 6 players scored 100+, only 2 were named and 3 of them were emergencies including Somervilles huge 291...

ACT Cockatoos 670 defeated by NT Kangaroos 852
ACT best: Nevill 223, Holland 209, Rainbird 103 [not named]
NT best: Mackin 312 (c), Cartwright 166, Finch 150, Bancroft 135, Forrest 104 [not named]
A decent score for the Cockatoos with Nevill and Holland showing they are among the best in this competition. But it was no match for BratPack's Kangaroos who've ended the year really strongly with 3 wins in the last 4 rounds. It is however the end of the season for them, ending 6th. The Cockatoos have advanced to the finals.

T Devils 843 defeated SA Wombats 820
TAS best: Henriques 630 (c), Richardson 183
SA best: Sayers 456 (c), White 141, Bailey 129, Hartley 116
This was an epic, and the good news is that next round it will be replayed! Both teams had huge captain scores and it went right down to the final over of the final game, where if Ed Cowan took a wicket it would've been a Wombats win. As it is, the Devils get the W, and end the season in 2nd

WA Swans 294 tied with V Possums 294
WA best: Pattinson 219
VIC best: Tremain 112
Boy oh boy what just happened?! I almost jinxed it that's what happened. The Possums lowest score this season was 545, the Swans highest score this year? 522. Then add in the fact the Possums have 4 guys averaging 100+ in their side, and the Swans have only 2 players!!! Then the Swans had no captain either. And this also went down to the final ball of the game, Labuschagne needed 12* or 22 for the Swans to win, he ends on 11* causing the tie. Incredible. The Possums should thanks their lucky stars though as the tie has seen them finish 3rd where a loss would've had them end 4th. This was destined to happen after I put up the "rivalries" section in the Honour Board thread, and not accounting for the event of a tie. But really Possums, it was 2v6...

SA Wombats vs T Devils
V Possums vs ACT Cockatoos

So there we are, the final 4. The first match up is a Major Semi with the winner going straight to the Granny. The loser will then play the winner of the Minor Semi. In both games this week the home team will have a 20 point head start for HGA. Managers of these teams watch your PMs I will be sending through a table of your players and their performances this season :)

Torpedo10

Well played Nige.  :)

I'm disappointed but confident we will be more competitive next season!

BratPack

Good way to end, winning our last 5 games in a row and defending the T20 trophy to be the only 2 Time champions in D6 history so far. If only the start of the first class season wasn't so terrible

nrich102

Good to get TOTW, but disappointed not to make the finals :(

PowerBug

Oh yeah there was one more thing I wanted to do, so may as well do it below. I doubt there'd be enough following for me to schedule a time and get enough to follow along, so just scroll slowly if you want some excitement :P

I'm talking of course about a Player of the Tournament award! :D
