1.2 mil/3 years for Hamling. We could offer about half of that so I don't blame him for going. Kersten is his best mate too. I'd be happy with 35 for him. Seems reasonable.

Hamling deal apparently done.  2nd round pick and a late round pick swap

Adamant

Happy with the Hamling deal. If his finals series form is any indicator then we've got a bargain on our hands.

Now to get his mate Kersten to cap off a very good trade period for us. Pick 40 should do it.

slightly off topic but wanted Freos fans thoughts

is Mundy a decent chance for  D/M status?

Mundy only played defence last year because we had no-one else.  I expect him to be back in the midfield this season.  So not sure if Fantasy Sites will list him as D/M.

If he does, I would probably snaffle him up

lol we did. Bullies sent it to GC, then GC sent it back to us

So Hamling basically cost us a future second.

But in a shallower draft (from all reports).  They make this move thinking that pick #35 this year will be better than pick #25- #30 (ish) next season

Fremantle started with:
#3
#39
#57
#75

Fremantle finished with:
#7
#35
#40
#71
+ Brad Hill
+ Cam McCarthy
+ Shane Kersten
+ Joel Hamling
- Chris Mayne

Very happy with that trade period.
