There was a rumour going around yesterday that we swap picks with GWS.  We give pick #3 and get McCarthy and pick #7 (and maybe 15 or 16).  Another option I read was that we get pick #5 instead of #7 (which GWS would get as part of the Marchbank to Carlton deal).

•   Balla's most likely to be at Freo next season - no trade has been discussed.
“There was some noise, but my feeling is he’ll remain at the club next year and we’d like that to happen”

•   Zac Clarke likely to re-sign with Freo - talks have begun with his management.
“I’d suggest he’s playing at the Dockers next season.  We’re working through a new contract”

•   Brad Hill

“It’s getting to the point, but not quite yet, of him saying he wants to come and play with us”

•   Joel Hamling
“He’s someone we’ve shown some interest in.  At this point I think he is still undecided”

•   Barlow not being offered a contract for next season - so he is looking for another club.

•   Speculating that Freo will receive a 2nd round pick for Mayne

Thats because Collingwood are offering $500k per year for 3 years.

Kersten has apparently officially requested a trade to Freo now as well.

I think i would have preferred pick 15 or 16 but I think pick 33 will get the Kersten deal done, so I am ok with that (if that happens)
