The causal cricket follower probably would never have heard of most of the Redbacks XI today?! :o
SA: Alex Carey (wk), Jake Weatherald, Callum Ferguson (c), Tom Cooper, Jake Lehmann, Tim Ludeman, Cameron Valente, Alex Gregory, Michael Cormack, Tom Andrews, Wes Agar

Ferguson, Cooper, Lehmann, Ludeman the only recognizable names there to some. Actually even the keen cricket followers probably haven't heard of Gergory, Cormack, Agar (other than knowing his brother played for Australia).

Meanwhile the opposition:
NSW: Ed Cowan, Daniel Hughes, Nic Maddinson, Moises Henriques (c), Kurtis Patterson, Peter Nevill (wk), Trent Copeland, Chris Green, Gurinder Sandhu, Nathan Lyon, Doug Bollinger
Daniel Hughes probably the least known of that lot, Chris Green being a BBL hero would be better known.

Haha went to school with both Valente & Cormack and have bowled to Weatherald & faced Andrews in club cricket, but that's still a ridiculously inexperienced XI :o No wonder we're getting thumped haha.
