This is set up to be the Prelim to decide who's the new entrant into the Grand Final scene in recent memory. Will it be the Giants in their first finals campaign or the Doggies who will try for their first Premiership Cup in over half a century?

Hoping the Doggies can get over the line here, but tbh as long as one of these teams win the GF, I'm happy.

Basically good vs evil for me: the wonderful boys from Footscray against the AFL-created monster from GWS. flower them and their 20 first round picks in 4 years and ability to steal a host of guns from other clubs like the doggies (Ward). Good against evil, carn the doggies.

Either way, should be a good Western Derby

How flowering good could this game be??!!!!  :o
the drama, the intrigue, the rivalry, the game-styles!!!!!!  :o   8)

Dogs worry is that tall timber of Cameron, Patton & Lobb for GWS ...

I think it will depend on how GWS handled the week off - if they are a few % pts off their best at the start, the Dogs could run right over the top and take it away early ...

But, if GWS are right from the get go or worst case, hang in like they did 1st half against Swans, then they should be in the box seat ...

All about the start for this game imo ...  :-X    ;)

Go Dogs!
got to be the doggies.    grew up in their zone,  lived 500m from ground in my 20's,   and playing some of the most exciting football.     woof woof here we come.

Go dogs alright.
1954 is long enough for any long suffering fan...as a Saints' man who has never seen a premiership in 40 years of following them I can empathise. Stuff the new kids on the block and the leg up they've been given by the AFL to be in this position so soon.

GWS are such an exciting team, but I feel like I should be barracking for the Doggies.
I think the Giants might take the W here, but am cheering for a great final to be honest.

GWS will win the next 5 grand finals so lets hope the Doggies can put off their dynasty for another 12 months
