NIC Naitanui made a welcome return to the training track this morning as West Coast's rehabilitation group started to thin a month out from pre-season matches.

The 26-year-old tested out the range of movement in his repaired knee at Wembley Sports Park in a significant milestone on his way back from a knee reconstruction.

Naitanui side stepped and ran on the spot, while raising his knees as he walked in several exercises designed to test his lateral movement.

He had no strapping on his left knee and was watched on by two trainers.
