WEST Coast assistant coach Brady Rawlings has taken over as the Eagles' new list manager as part of a restructure of the club's football department.

Rawlings has assumed list management duties effective immediately, with former list manager Adrian Battiston moving to a scouting role.

But we will need 2 more ruckman to asisst giles and lycett.... getting just the one more will leave us with only 3 for most of the year which is still to scarce.

Yeah I dunno much about the draft but I assumed English would be gone by then. Plus I would probably rather pick a fast outside mid with good skills at our first pick and take a punt on a really raw ruckman. We really only need someone for next season as the NicNat-Lycett combo will see us through for some time.

Fast outside mid... Hmm seems like lewis jetta lol. We need some big bodies mids i reckon- the fyfe/danger/ bont/ kennedy(syd) type. But we also lack pace, and the guys who do have it hill, jetta dont do anything, so we need pace too which makes it hard on what to take first. Duggan was a pick 12 and he hasnt come on, not strong and slow as well. You need to be one at least to be decent. but then we need a ruck too haha. Hopefully there is still a ruckman floating arounnd at like pick 50 or something for us to snag.

THERE are serious concerns over West Coast ruckman Scott Lycett's 2017 campaign, after he was sent to Melbourne to get a second opinion on his posterior cruciate ligament injury.

Lycett battled a sore left knee in the last month of the season. He did some damage to his PCL midway through the season but played on.

He suffered several knocks that hampered him in the last two rounds of the home and away season and the elimination final where he hobbled off early in the second term against the Bulldogs after hurting the knee while laying a tackle.

The Eagles have confirmed Lycett needs some kind of surgery but the extent of the operation is unclear.

AFL.com.au understands that the normal course of action for a partial PCL tear is rest and recovery but a complete tear would require a reconstruction that could rule him out for anywhere between six and 12 months. Any meniscus or cartilage damage would also be concerning going forward.
