No thanks.  We have Lachie Weller and Darcy Tucker to play the half forward roles.
Langdon? Tucker will play across halfback/middle long term.
But..
We also have plenty of list cloggers and a few that will go over east.
A guy like this would cost nothing so could be worth the punt
that's what I mean ... chuck him on your rookie list, it's not like he's clogging up a list spot then ... I see almost zero risk in it ...  ???    ;)

valkorum

He is supposed to be a big bodied inside midfielder (192cm, 90kg) who can push forward.  He doesnt seem to do either role well.

2016 WAFL League Averages (13 games)
17.9 Disposals per game
0.7 Goals per game
4.2 Marks per game
4.1 Tackles per game

Compare him to Matt De Boer who plays a similar role

2016 WAFL League Averages (14 games)
30.2 Disposals per game
0.5 Goals per game
3.7 Marks per game
7.6 Tackles per game

We are rumoured to be getting rid of De Boer (and he can't get a game for us), so why would we take a player who is worse than De Boer?

Ricochet

He's had a down year compared to last year mate, check out his stats from 2015. He can play
de Boer's kicking is questionable

elephants

Yeah Colledge offers more than DeBoer. His 2015 was amazing so he can definitely play.

I'd say hes a younger version of MDB with better skills and more upside. Worthy of a rookie spot.

I think he'll end up at the Bombers though.

valkorum

His number still don't stack up

2015 WAFL League Averages
22.6 Disposals per game
0.6 Goals per game
5.2 Marks per game
3.7 Tackles per game

Its not all about stats, gotta factor in he's that influential that he often had someone sitting on his ass.

DeBoer is 27 next year, if he gets delisted (which he probably will), Colledge is a midfield depth replacement who is 5-6 years younger with much more upside.

Like I said though, Woosha will bring him to the Bombers imo.

valkorum

Connor Blakely is the better option and we already have him... plus he is younger than Colledge.

I just don't see it with Colledge.  The Eagles are in desperate need of an inside mid and he still cant get a game.

I reckon he might have fallen out of favour with the club. I wouldn't be shocked to see him have a career at the Bombers.

Got faith in Jack Redden bouncing back and providing us help on the inside. We went hard for him last year for a reason.

I agree, but when is Simmo going to put him inside?!  He's best spot is right in there not as a goal kicking mid, Masten and Hutchings can do that.  Let him extract for gods sake!

I honestly think he hasn't been at full fitness all season.

Had off-season surgery which knocked him around a lot and restricted his running. Hoping he avoids surgery this off-season and comes back 100% next season.

Back on topic, I reckon Mayne will be a good fit at the Pies. Should fair better than the Q-Stick did!

Just a reminder that this is a Freo board 8)

Ricochet

Colin Young has said that Mayne will definitely go to a Melb club but Collingwood deal isn't done yet.

Also sounds like Ballas will go to WCE after all.

Yeah Eags/Dockers have a pretty good relationship these days. Its more the supporters that hate each other haha

Not entirely sure how much I want Ballantyne, but I spose if he gets back to his best he's a definite asset.

valkorum

I wonder what we get for Balla's if he goes to the Eagles?

Brown/McKenzie/Darling ?
