The Super Coach season ran until 29 August 2016 this year so the pass would no longer be valid; please be aware that these are seasonal passes rather than 12 month subscriptions.

If that was true the email would have said expired not cancelled they are just covering there butts plus not everyone got there's cancelled , most people won't even realize until they try and use it next year

I've sent a follow-up saying what about next years access to pre-season prices and such.

They are trying to change the rules mid subscription anyway they told me they were sending a $25 gift card but have not got it yet haha , if I do I will post

Anything further on this? I got the cancellation email too which I dont really care about but I do want early access to the 2017 team picker

All of your details will remain on our systems and we will absolutely let you know when you can resubscribe for Super Coach Gold. This will ususally take place in late January.

The team picker and new prices are released in December so will be curious to see if we still get access to that

Thank you for your reply.

The early access will still be available to you before the season commences.

In previous years the Gold Pass would just expire so you would not have been notified; as there are some players who have recurring payments it was decided that to ensure our customers were not overcharged, we would stop the pass at the end of the season.

There will be no changes to your access for next year as this is the only thing that has been changed.

Just an update I did receive the $25 gift card they promised so I taking from that I will have to subscribe to SC gold if I want early access if not it looks like I have had a small win  :)

Your SuperCoach GOLD - AFL Season Pass has been cancelled.
If you require further assistance, the FAQs on your My Account page should be able to help. Otherwise, please call us on 1300 696 397 Monday to Friday 7:30am to 6:00pm and Saturday 7:30am to 11:30am (AEST).

i rang above number today , pressed 4 . 6  then JAMES went through my details and said he will put me on hold and check with his sports dept as to why was i cancelled re SC GOLD  and will SC GOLD members be receiving early player prices in DECEMBER 2016  like previous years and he replied after he spoke to the sports dept

All SC 2016 Gold members have had their memberships cancelled after the SC " season " as has what happened in previous years ( i queried him and said i dont remember it being cancelled early before ) .
James then said as soon as the 2017 SC players prices are confirmed " all " SC Gold members from the 2016 season will receive an email telling them they will be able to access and or buy the 2017 SC Gold on their SC site and it may be in LATE November or December this year .He said we the SC Gold members of 2016 will receive early access to the 2017 prices before anyone else that isnt on SC Gold.

I subscribe to H/S digital with weekend delivery at a cost of $28 every 4 weeks. For this I appear to get SC Gold thrown in and nothing expires so long as I pay the $28 on time. I haven't had anything cancelled and SC Gold links up automatically. Hope this helps somebody as this is by far the best footy forum in existence. Cheers.

I have automatically with my digital subscription to Courier Mail in Qld and nothing has changed for me.
