Gigantor

So I'm super bored at work so I though I would have a bit of a look at potential prices for next year.

A couple of notes:
I used this years positions, the whole DPP changes discussion is in another thread :)
I used the same "magic number" as this year, 5396
Based on Ablett from this year I don't believe Fyfe will get a discount since his average for the year is well below previous years
Probably the same with Dayne Beams, though they might just completely ignore this years scores and give him a discount based on his 2015 record. Either way he is going to be hard to ignore.
I've included a separate table for all the returning supplement saga players with prices based on different discounts (not sure how they will treat Myers and Pears!)
If any of the Bombers players positions are wrong, apologizes, some of them were guesses :)

711k for danger seems pricey but will likely take it

in saying that Treloar at 600k and Sloane at 580k are tempting

Bont and Dmart at 580k looks great value

wont pay 585k for dochers

Goldy at 580k lock it in

Not many in that Essendon lineup worth considering unless as stepping stones.
Heppel, Stanton, Hurley, Hooker, Watson and Ryder are probably the one only ones and then it becomes a value decision depending on discount.
Of those only Heppel, Hurley and Hooker probable Full year choices.

ronl

Agree that Heppell, Hurley and Hooker will be the three most coaches take an interest in...but... and this is a BIG BUT...I wouldn't be writing off Watson just yet.  I can see him wanting one more seriously good year before he retires.

Hi fellow SC nuts.
First time poster short time Lurker.
Great Forum you have here so congrats all round.
2017:
Shaw Docherty JJ
Danger Gaz Fyfe Pendles Beams
Gawn Goldstein
Gray Hall Dusty Bennel

With half the midfield walkiing out i think Hall and Gaz are givens with full preasons.
Fyfe and Beams would need near perfect preseasons also to warrant selection.
Big fan of Titch next year if he goes to another club which would bring Heeney into calculations also

I would be surprised if any of Hall, Dusty, Gray had fwd status next season.

But, who knows. I've been surprised before :P

Can add Zerrett to that list as well.
This will be why Bennell will be in everyone's team to start the season.   Gun and M/F as well as discount.  Probably a good idea as will see greater variance as we try to pick reliable KPF ( they dont exist)

Not much of an SC player but Gray has been running off half-forward pretty much 100% in the second half of the season, been a constant frustration to see him down there. Not sure about the other two but would expect Gray to be a forward.
