Why the flower would he do that when Sandi is cooked?

unrealised potential this bloke ... just hasn't come on for you guys ...

I don't know the guy but on field he looks very lackadaisical, like he doesn't want to be there of what I've seen of him this season, and that's how he seems to play on the field ...  :P

what do you think you could get for him??   ;)

always looks like that, not sure how good a player he really is, he does look slow and uniterested some of the time but maybe he is just that type of player or maybe just frustrated playing in Sandi's shadow.

Really dont rate him that high and really surely he doesnt have as much an oppurtunity he does at freo at many other clubs.

that's what i'm thinking ... it just seems like he thinks he's better than he actually is, that's why I question his effort and application ...

valkorum

He has always looked uninterested but then he does some things that make you think he has massive potential.  At 26 he should be starting to come in to his prime but he seems to have stagnated.

yeah, that's my view - why isn't he better than he is? So much potential ... perfect foil to Sandilands but he just hasn't taken it on ... I think you could forgive inconsistent performances a couple of years ago, but as you wrote he should be coming into his prime now, but he seems to have gone backwards instead ...    :-X    :P    ;)

valkorum

I don't think he has gone backwards, he has stayed the same.  But that means that a 30 year old Griffin (31 before next season starts) is better than him

I think he has definitely gone backwards Valk. Largely due to his knee though.

Hopefully (if he stays) he'll have a much better season after a full preseason

My opinion of Zac is that he has lost his ability to jump. His knees are shot I think and can not get any spring. He looks like he is going through agony when he runs. His leaping , marking and running were his main attributes two years ago,but all seem to be gone.He was one I had down for a trade early season. He hasn't improved.

valkorum

That's actually a pretty good reason anchorman.  I have had knee injuries and I know how hard it is to compete properly while recovering

Doesn't he need to be traded to another club to realise his full potential, then 2 years down the track Freo pay overs for him to come back?  :P

We have only done that twice that I can think of... plus Zac is too old for that now - he is 26.

Peter Bell was traded to North when he was 20, back when he was 25
Adam McPhee was traded to Essendon when he was 20, then back when he was 28

How about Croad and Headland? Or did you not have them first, just paid overs?  Speaking of Headland, he played for Nollamara this season in the WAAFL, they played off in the Grandy, but not sure if they won.

Just checked myself, overs it is.
