Can anyone tell me why Kristie has been the outright favourite to win for weeks now at $1.40?!?  I've been watching the market and cannot understand this at all, she's loopy and she doesn't really have any friends or alliances.  The only thing I can figure is something has leaked somewhere and its a foregone conclusion that she has already won!?  There is absolutely no reason she should be that short, and she has been at those odds for about a month now!  :o

I agree mate, for the best part of what we have seen so far she's very lucky to still be there through no work of her own just good fortune. Without Sue going to Sanaapu she would of been gone that night. Maybe you're on the money and something has been leaked because there's no way she deserves to be a $1:40 favourite unless somethings got out.

Lee's next in line at $6 and then Sam at $9.  I put a 10er on Sam a month ago...his odds haven't changed...you'd expect his odds to become shorter as players get eliminated.

"the Sting" revisisted here.    No way will I bet on a show that has already been completed.     Chances of inside knowledge is huge.

So flowering disappointed and sad that Nick is out, rip winner pick. He was amazing at tribal though, he will be missed. Should be a great jury member though. Hopefully his parting words shake things up because this shower is getting more and more dull each episode.

flower you Sam, you're the real snake you cow.

JL, Kylie, and Kristie for me now

Edit: Lee and Matt too now, seeing as they both voted with Nick.

Not sure why someone didn't use the "good guy" card and call him out for being a bully, would've completely flipped the script.

Also on a side not, I've never seen a Survivor where they change the rules during a challenge.  Just because it was going for so long they decide to pull them down to the bottom rung?  It's happened multiple times these seasons, on the American Survivor at least they say at this stage of the challenge something will change here, not just, ok, everyone down to the bottom rung.  Which I hadn't started watching this show to be honest, it seems to be annoying me more than anything.

I'll go against the grain here a little and say I'm kinda glad to see Nick go. Never warmed to this bloke at all, his sooky sooky lala speeches made me want to say shut the flower up. Wouldn't mind seeing Flick and Brooke gone next in no particular order, way to arrogant for my liking.

This

Their Sorority Club and how soft/dumb the others are to let them be in that position is doing my head in

We saw a glimpse of how Kristie might get the win giving her reward up to Matt, I think someone will take her to the end because she's been under the radar and not overly playing the game like some others.  It will backfire when the jury vote her to win just because she hasn't "screwed" anyone over.  This group seem highly vindictive and are too proud to admit when someone played a good game.

Pretty much. I think it's from here that we'll see Kristie's "winner's edit" really come out if that's what is indeed happening.

She's been enough of a presence for it to be possible, and she's capable and just about all aspects of the game. Would be a nice redemption arc (of sorts) from the breakdown on like Day 2.

I've rethought my stance, Nick was a snake, he did the same thing to Sue as what Sam did to him at tribal council.  He also was a prick about getting revenge on Vavau.  Just cos a snake cried doesn't mean it's still not going to bite you.  Sam was onto him before he could get bit, was a good move, now he's gotta face the Sorority Hydra!  :o

Sam didn't have a legitimate reason to hate Nick though. Nick didn't really do anything to him. Sam had a confessional where he basically said (paraphrasing hard): "I don't like the Nick because the girls told me to hate him."

Currently, pretty much everyone is too scared to make a big move to oust one of the 'mean girls'. Whatever they say goes, but hopefully that changes on Sunday.

I took it as Sam was told about some of the things that Nick had done which made Sam take that view.  I never liked Nick from the start when he lied and made up the clue to the hidden immunity.  That sealed his fate and he was scrambling ever since, no one had a reason to trust him and that was his own fault.  I give him 1pt for his Survivor fan boy status though. ;)
