I'm not sure, but I think Kristie has lead the fan favourite leaderboard on ten for pretty much the whole show, which may be why she was priced so low - still leads it with 45% of the vote

Person who sets the odds may not have even watched/followed the show and just gone to a fan leaderboard/favourites thing. My mind says that if the result was actually leaked why wouldn't they either put her at $1.03 or something or cancel the whole market asap? Bit of an ethical issue

Kirstie was basically at those odds before anyone knew about the characters personalities.  Ethics and gambling prob can't be used in the same sentence.  However, the fact that the odds have disappeared since about 4 weeks ago gives me another reason to think it was leaked.  Also in the terms of the market "result may or may not be already known".  Straight up BS.

Yeah, she was $1.40 so early in the piece when anyone who was watching could see she was at the bottom and appeared to be out in a matter of time. No way you can offer those odds based of what has only been seen on TV

You're a smart guy, you think the bookmaker would just go to a fan forum to set odds when there is money involved? There's a lot more to it and considering every production member on set knows the final two, you can guarantee someone's told a mate to throw some cash at a certain player, hence resulting in crunched odds.

There's a lot more to it and considering every production member on set knows the final two, you can guarantee someone's told a mate to throw some cash at a certain player, hence resulting in crunched odds.

This happened on the last season of the Bachelor, a guy put 10K on his ex to win and the odds came cashing down, ppl followed this and that chick didn't win in the end, she was runner up.  Don't think the same thing will happen here, Kristie's won it.
