ROCKY! ROCKY! ROCKY! For those new to the forums, each week I will tell you some statistics on a player's last 3 games, their last 3 against this week's opponent, and their last 3 at this ground. I will also do a quick overview on my thoughts and have a guess at their score for this week. From all this, I'll give you my top 5 captain choices for the week. If I have the time (and they're relevant), I'll get to any requests you have too!

The facts & thoughts:

S. Mitchell
Last 3: 126, 72, 68 (89 avg)
Last 3 against West Coast: 146, 114, 108 (123 avg)
Last 3 at Subi: 117, 105, 109 (110 avg)

Mitchell just loves to smash the Eagles and he'll do so again while they're not tagging. Prediction - 125

Lewis
Last 3: 126, 98, 101 (108 avg)
Last 3 against West Coast: 110, 114, 92 (105 avg)
Last 3 at Subi: 118, 156, 69 (114 avg)

Not quite as big against the Eagles but in good form and still loves to beat them. Prediction - 115

Hodge
Last 3: 113, 95, 74 (94 avg)
Last 3 against West Coast: 127, 130, 96 (118 avg)
Last 3 at Subi: 96, 126, 99 (107 avg)

To round it out, a third Hawk that loves smashing the Eagles (remember the grand final?). Prediction - 115

Hannebery
Last 3: 128, 129, 145 (134 avg)
Last 3 against North: 125, 65, 93 (94 avg)
Last 3 at Hobart: 108 (108 avg)

Fantastic form, a 125 in their last match up, and no problem with Hobart. Prediction - 130

Parker
Last 3: 144, 128, 118 (130 avg)
Last 3 against North: 59, 120, 133 (104 avg)
Last 3 at Hobart: 112 (112 avg)

I honestly can't explain that 59 but it's the only thing stopping Parker from being a lock this week. Prediction - 130

J.P. Kennedy
Last 3: 118, 105, 156 (126 avg)
Last 3 against North: 129, 130, 92 (117 avg)
Last 3 at Hobart: 114 (114 avg)

This trio of Swans are on fire at the moment. Expect triple big scores. Prediction - 130

T. Mitchell
Last 3: 90, 139, 105 (111 avg)
Last 3 against North: 163, 67, 100 (110 avg)
Last 3 at Hobart: N/A

Almost a quartet but Mitchell's 90 last week was quite the disappointment. It might be that not all four can go huge. Or maybe they can... Prediction - 110

D. Martin
Last 3: 132, 110, 112 (118 avg)
Last 3 against St Kilda: 98, 80, 71 (83 avg)
Last 3 at MCG: 132, 110, 103 (115 avg)

Not great against the Saints but should be good because it's at the G. Prediction - 110

Steven
Last 3: 73, 64, 73 (70 avg)
Last 3 against Richmond: 101, 72, 104 (92 avg)
Last 3 at MCG: 64, 133, 87 (95 avg)

Absolutely stinking it up at the moment. Wasn't even tagged against the Swans but still struggled. Will avoid a tag again this week and will hopefully bounce back. Prediction - 100

Coniglio
Last 3: 121, 101, 107 (110 avg)
Last 3 against Fremantle: 129, 109, 66 (101 avg)
Last 3 at Showgrounds: 121, 96, 109 (109 avg)

The huge selling point here is that Sheridan will probably tag Shaw or Ward and leave Coniglio free to rack it up, which he will do in a percentage-boosting win. Prediction - 120

Neale
Last 3: 105, 91, 131 (109 avg)
Last 3 against GWS: 99, 147, 93 (113 avg)
Last 3 at Showgrounds: N/A

Neale's never played at the Giants' Fortress but I can't see why he won't ton in his first go there. Prediction - 110

Gray
Last 3: 81, 40, 93 (71 avg)
Last 3 against Adelaide: 127, 101, 102 (110 avg)
Last 3 at AO: 81, 99, 115 (98 avg)

Sucking at the moment but you'd expect Gray to bounce back for the Showdown. Prediction - 105

Sloane
Last 3: 81, 117, 128 (109 avg)
Last 3 against Port: 67, 67, 102 (79 avg)
Last 3 at AO: 117, 128, 106 (117 avg)

Apparently, Sloane sucks in Showdowns. I didn't realise this but I'm staying away because of it. Prediction - 85

Treloar
Last 3: 128, 115, 113 (119 avg)
Last 3 against Gold Coast: 78, 103, 104 (95 avg)
Last 3 at Etihad: 128, 93, 90 (104 avg)

I don't think it's a stretch to say the new recruit has been the best Magpie this year and he'll likely be the best this week. Prediction - 120

Pendlebury
Last 3: 91, 67, 148 (102 avg)
Last 3 against Gold Coast: 141, 111, 109 (120 avg)
Last 3 at Etihad: 91, 99, 113 (101 avg)

Don't get suckered in by his form against the Suns. I'm pretty sure Pendles is carrying at least one injury and he looks like it's affecting him. Prediction - 105

Sidebottom
Last 3: 91, 106, 109 (102 avg)
Last 3 against Gold Coast: 118, 99, 99 (105 avg)
Last 3 at Etihad: 91, 96, 130 (106 avg)

Was tagged last week. Won't happen this week but the numbers aren't good enough anyway. Prediction - 110

Curnow
Last 3: 116, 94, 98 (103 avg)
Last 3 against Melbourne: 109, 147, 96 (117 avg)
Last 3 at MCG: 94, 80, 91 (88 avg)

This is mighty tempting with some good history against the Dees but there are just so many better options. Prediction - 110

Gawn

Last 3 against Carlton: 66, 40, 52 (53 avg)
Last 3 at MCG: 144, 106, 100 (117 avg)

In a must-win game, expect the big man to shake his poor history against the Blues. Prediction - 120

Rockliff

Last 3 against Geelong: 124, 140, 77 (114 avg)
Last 3 at Gabba: 174, 76, 128 (126 avg)

You'd be silly to hop of this wagon right now. I'd forgive you if you did it for a Swan but I still think Rocky top scores the round again. Prediction - 135

Zorko
Last 3: 125, 82, 85 (97 avg)
Last 3 against Geelong: 89, 59, 130 (93 avg)
Last 3 at Gabba: 125, 85, 131 (114 avg)

Not great against the Cats and you have to remember that last week's nice score was in a very rare win. Don't expect him to match it this week. Prediction - 95

S. Martin
Last 3: 66, 130, 111 (102 avg)
Last 3 against Geelong: 81, 134, 124 (113 avg)
Last 3 at Gabba: 66, 111, 111 (96 avg)

If Archie Smith gets dropped (he shouldn't - but who knows?!) he'll be good. Otherwise, nope! Edit: Well, Smith was dropped. 114 average in his last three without Smith plus a 129 average in his two vs. the Cats before this year's weird down patch. Should be very good. Prediction - 125

Dangerfield
Last 3: 93, 105, 135 (111 avg)
Last 3 against Brisbane: 107, 95, 86 (96 avg)
Last 3 at Gabba: 86, 85, 95 (89 avg)

Sucks against Brisbane, sucks at the Gabba, and is down on form. This would be the perfect game for Danger to make me look like an idiot and go 140. I'm predicting a low one though. Prediction - 105

Selwood
Last 3: 108, 79, 91 (93 avg)
Last 3 against Brisbane: 114, 146, 139 (133 avg)
Last 3 at Gabba: 104, 121, 69 (98 avg)

On the flip side, Joel Selwood is excellent against the Lions. This could be good. Prediction - 120

Merrett
Last 3: 127, 89, 101 (106 avg)
Last 3 against Bulldogs: 107, 63, 65 (78 avg)
Last 3 at Etihad: 127, 89, 130 (115 avg)

127 in an important win but I can't see the Bombers backing it up against the Dogs. Merrett was good against them last time and has been good enough this year to be confident in a good score. Prediction - 110

Zaharakis
Last 3: 136, 90, 64 (97 avg)
Last 3 against Bulldogs: 58, 47, 93 (66 avg)
Last 3 at Etihad: 136, 90, 69 (98 avg)

One of his best games this year might be followed by a stinker. With that kinda record against the Dogs, I'd look elsewhere. Prediction - 85

Bontempelli
Last 3: 137, 118, 85 (113 avg)
Last 3 against Essendon: 95, 84, 13 (64 avg)
Last 3 at Etihad: 137, 118, 113 (123 avg)

Best mid vs. Essendon this week. Great at Etihad and in solid form. Prediction - 125

Hunter
Last 3: 95, 75, 85 (85 avg)
Last 3 against Essendon: 126, 68, 49 (81 avg)
Last 3 at Etihad: 95, 75, 101 (90 avg)

Probably the highest ceiling of Doggies players if you're looking at taking a punt on an Essendon collapse. Shocking form though. Prediction - 100

LAHUG'S ROUGHIE OF THE WEEK!

Weirdly, Tom didn't tag but still only got 90. I'll have to bounce back this week with only two weeks left. In this segment, I'll talk about someone that, partly because of stats and mostly because of gut feeling, I think will go huge this week. It'll usually be somebody that you wouldn't usually give the C to but, if you have him and are feeling brave, might be worth a look.

Franklin
Last 3: 139, 67, 102 (103 avg)
Last 3 against North: 105, 109, 137 (117 avg)
Last 3 at Hobart: N/A

The numbers are obviously good but nowhere near good enough to make an outlandish call. But I'm gonna do it! Buddy will kick 8+ this week on his way to the Coleman Medal and a huge score this week. Gutsy prediction - 140

LAHUG'S POTATO FORECAST!

It was Danger who ended up missing the ton, not Selwood. Who'd a thunk it? Basically, I'll highlight a premium that is probably in plenty of teams but is both down on form and has some terrible history against this week's opponent. Get ready for a shocker of a score!

Priddis
Last 3: 98, 106, 102 (102 avg)
Last 3 against Hawthorn: 67, 86, 87 (80 avg)
Last 3 at Subi: 106, 138, 105 (116 avg)

First game and we already have our spud. He's loving Subi at the moment but Priddis always disappears against the Hawks. Don't expect much different as the Hawks need a win for top spot. Spudiction - 75

I'd say 125. Averages 114 in his last three prior to Archie playing and was great against the Cats prior to this year but that was during his super bad patch. Should be very good now.
