Do you have a non playing R3 though. If so why not set it up eg I have Read as my R3 and I always play him on field with Goldy as emergency.  Virtually a perma loophole for me.

If not than I think Silvagni slightly over Phillips.

I don't think he is talking about captains loophole. I think he's in the unfortunate position of having to play one or the other. Toss a coin.
