Just saying Minor Premiers are 0-5 as far as going on to win the flag

New Delhi would be first team outside the top 4 to make a GF also

Destroyers Misfire as Jaguars Stun

Dublin Destroyers (21.10.136) lost to Rio de Janeiro Jaguars (23.11.149)

So this happened! The Jaguars have pulled off an almighty upset against the Minor Premiers in style with a comprehensive victory led my Finals Champion Medalist Patrick Cripps! It was a case of Murphy's law for Dublin; whatever can go wrong, did go wrong as all bar 5 players underperformed, none worse than star forward Lance Franklin. This would be a devastating and incredibly frustrating loss for the Destroyers, whom have basically just been waiting for finals to do their damage. But, it was the all-round strength of the Jaguars superbly led Patrick Cripps (an individual performance they'll never forget) that has propelled Rio into the all desired Round 23! Comisserations Dublin, but super-duper congratulations to Rio!

Suns Set. Tigers Rise

Mexico City Suns (24.11.155) lost to New Delhi Tigers (25.6.156)

Ohhhhhhh SH!T! Ohhhh mercy me! IT! JUST! KEEPS! GOING! New Delhi have had to muster up a fierce score in beating the reigning premiers in what is now officially THE GREATEST TURNAROUND of a team in WXVs history, undeniably. The Tigers just kept whippin out century after century, and the Suns were straining to keep up and had to rely on Captain Rockliff to put in 120+ to grab hold of the advantage. But the 7 centurion force that was the New Delhi Tigers REFUSE to let this winning streak stop and will progress to the Grand freaking Final! They won the Wooden Spoon last year!!!! For the Suns, they're in the exact same boat as Holz; a feeling of great frustration and disappointment in falling at the last hurdle to Round 23 after a season of waiting. But they'd no more than anyone, it's who's better on the day that wins. Commisserations to the Suns, but OMG well done NDT!

Wellington Tons Well

This game followed the 10 player v 7 probability, with Wellington being well serviced by a host of players. La Plata did pretty well actually, with a host of best XV players not available for Buenos Aires.

Copacabana start New Delhi Mind Games

How much will our future senior Grand Finalists take out of this match? Not a god damn thing. But Capuchins had a mammoth 13 players take the field against the Elephant's 10, but only Rioli (106) and Maynard (85) might have got their coaches attention for next week.

Mumbai Elephants (18.6.114) lost to Copacabana Capuchins (23.11.149)

It's not a certainty... not even likely yet..  but it is a chance

Looking at the current live scores, I reckon it is

kinda makes the heartbreak for NY and PNL sting that little bit more doesn't it?  :'(

We we'rent good enough Daz, but it does give hope for next season!

I just looked at what we would have scored this weekend if we were still in and we would have lost to Dublin so not really heartbreak. We were just not good enough

Congrats to Rio and NDT and best of luck in the GF next weekend.

Holz

Congrats levi too strong on the day. Big effort with the injuries and best of luck in the finals.

Rio v ndt will be exciting to watch and we have a new champion. Been a very enjoyable year and for Dublin even though we won the minor just never looked our year.

Huge congrats to rico ele big effort wirh the rebuild, no disrespect to levi but I'll be cheering on ndt from chenai!!!
