Umps have money on Swans by 80+

Ump's haven't been great, but you'd still be getting spanked. Swans too good

no doubt about it. it was even up til half time and we copped a couple injuries to important players which tired the rest of the players and the corporates ran over the top. and maybe even if we didn't cop the injuries they still woulda ran over the top

it's pretty flowerin annoying though when the guys in green pay stupid free kicks and let the corporates do whatever they want. like quite literally whatever they want

you watch the game a lot closer when your teams involved. a lot closer. that's everyone

flower the swans

Agree with you Kyle. You watch your own team closely and see the inconsistencies in the umpiring,  Fair enough in most cases does not effect the result but you see certain teams seem to get the rub of the Green. Have been on about for years the inconsistency in umpiring paying frees one way and not the other. And today Saints were on the receiving end of some dubious frees whilst others went unpaid. And I have said it quite a few times Umpire Nicholls is the most inconsistent umpire in the AFL.

Great first half. Shows the Saints will be a force next year. Capable of mixing it with the best.
With luck things may have been different. Swans deserved the win but some of the decisions made were poor and didn't help any ... like Parker's high contact on DMac which resulted in a Swan's goal, Rampe's dropping the ball and a deliberate punch out of bounds that went over 5 player's heads. Papley got lucky with a bad bounce to us and in another play the 50m awarded to him was for what? The blowout was fed in part to Fisher's absence and Hickey's lack of mobility in the last half and Geary was a big out so I'm not concerned too much by the margin. There were lots of postives looking forward as a Saint's fan. The first half...Acres was huge ....love the fact he can stand up in a tackle. His third big game in a row.  McCartin got through unscathed and did plenty too.
When the Saints are on they're exciting to watch. Looking forward to 2017.

great post mate. Geary really was a massive out, didn't think I'd be saying that. I wanted him slowly transitioned out of the team. how wrong was I. he's had a brilliant year and is a big chance of taking over the captaincy

I'm not concerned with the final margin either for the reasons you said. proud of our effort. can't wait to watch the boys next year and beyond

Exciting times ahead. Wouldn't mind Geary as skipper...he'd be my pick.
