Boo Dublin!

We made finals last year (Our first year as coaches), but before that were handed a team that couldn't even field 15 lol, so yeah we've come a long way in a short period of time too

Rio got all the good stuff from Sao Paolo, and we've both been hit with injuries so boo Dublin again!

Dublin had a weaker team then New York had by far, and didnt go old to move up the ladder/

Dublin is the original Underdog Team.

Go Dublin Go.

Actually, Moscow had the lowest scoring best XV after the original draft so they were the original underdog team. Lost the first 4 games too, then bam.

Boo Dublin.

Ranking WXV Semi Finals

I've ranked all 8 Semi Finals from WXV history... and well, most of the games were pretty one-sided affairs.

Moscow, amazingly, have played 4 semi finals (out of a possible 4), losing all 4 with scores of 116, 119, 120 and 129. That's amazingly consistently bad in semi finals. Mexico City had 3 big wins (having lost qualifying finals 3 times). But both Moscow (who didn't qualify for finals) and Mexico City (who skipped this week) aren't playing. Of the 4 teams that are playing, only PNL have played in a semi final before (for a win).

1. 2013: Sao Paulo Pumas (23.14.152) def Cairo Sands (22.12.144)
These 2 teams finished 4th and 5th on the ladder, separated only by percentage. However Sao Paulo had not beaten a team outside of the bottom 4 since Round 10, while Cairo were on a 9 match winning streak! Happier times for Cairo, but the Pumas pulled through for a win, on its way to an amazing premiership victory. DANNY STANLEY of all people was best on ground.

2. 2015: PNL Reindeers (21.6.132) def Berlin Brewers (20.7.127)
A close game and PNL's first (and only) finals win. This was Berlin's lowest score of the year, and PNL's second lowest. Perhaps the Reindeers do have a finals problem?

3. 2013: Moscow Spetsnaz (18.11.119) lost to Berlin Brewers (21.17.143)
Berlin, who only just snuck into the finals, became the first (and currently only) team to make the Preliminary finals from outside of the top 4. Moscow put in a shocker, sure, and the match wasn't great, but the under dog Brewers were fantastic.

4. 2012: Buenos Aires Armadillos (20.20.140) defeated Toronto Wolves (18.13.121)
Buenos Aires, the least likely of the top 4 teams, qualified comfortably for the preliminary finals

5. 2012: Mexico City Suns (22.19.151) def Moscow Spetsnaz (18.12.120)
The Suns bounced back from a surprise round 1 loss with a thrashing of a Moscow team, who had a very bad day.

6. 2015: Mexico City Suns (24.11.155) def Moscow Spetsnaz (20.9.129)
The Suns bounced back with a smashing of a Moscow team (for the 2nd time in a semi final), who had injury concerns early on its match. Ultimately a fairly boring match.

7. 2014: Buenos Aires Armadillos (22.14.146) def Moscow Spetsnaz (17.14.116)
Buenos Aires qualified for a 3rd consecutive preliminary final, while Moscow had a real shocking match.

8. 2014: Mexico City Suns (27.15.177) def Cape Town Cobras (18.17.125)
BOOM. The Suns had an amazing 11 Centurions, and the Cobras went down by a mammoth 52 points (and haven't played a final since).

if i had of made it in 2013 i would have made the grand final or prelim from 8th spot. so would have.

PNL came very close to making me play a semi. Would help with my game records to catch Ebert. Also would have meant Goldy could have gone for a ruck of the week.
