Season 2: Free Agency Auction

AUCTION IS CLOSED

Auction rules:
- The auction will run from 12:00am Thursday 8th September to 10pm Sunday 25th September
- If a player goes 24 hours without a bid he will be sold. Players ending times will be rounded to the next hour (AEST)
- Teams may bid up to twice each day
- Once a players ending time is expected to end on the 24th September, his finishing time will automatically be moved to 10pm on the 25th September. (Yes this opens up to sniping but it's the auction has to end eventually, and it's unlimited bidding up to then hopefully things have progressed nicely)
- On the 24th and 25th September there will be no restrictions on amount of bidding.
- Please state clearly your team when making a bid
- You may bid any multiple of $1,000 on a player.
- Please make sure you do not go above the squad limit on players (20)

So I believe, excluding all the players currently with franchises which will be de-listed, that is the pool of players to chose from this Auction. It's a pretty small pool, especially as 6 of them will disappear for free to the bototm sides.Unfortunately the best of the free agents Michael Hogan retired from Australian Domestic Cricket, he averaged 141 for the Warriors last Shield season.

I've put up the names that played Shield last season even if I didn't see their name on the team pages. I think some of the team pages didn't have the rookie listed players so I might be missing some names.

To give a helping hand those that played Shield last year have got their matches played and averages in there. I can't easily access those that played Matador Cup (My spreadsheet wasn't as good for that one) and I imagine that those that played T20 you'll all remember anyway (Like the Ronaldo look-a-like Chris Green).

You'll be allowed to bid for the leftover free agents, what is currently happening is the compo picks for the shower teams. (This was in the rules from day 1 :P) also the play pool will be bigger from next season as there'll be players leaving under that poaching system that was discussed :)

I count a good half dozen of players still available that imo should get taken by teams because they'll be getting game time this season. Still options for the top teams to add to their lists :)
