Hi All,
Current mids are Sloane, Danger, Priddis, Gray, JPK, Hanne, Shield.

Want to upgrade my final mid and have only 569K to spend so cannot afford pendles. Considering the folllowing:

Selwood = Good home stretch but read he might be getting rested?
Neale = Consistant all year but also might get rested?
Bont = North, Colling & Melb next 3 games so should score well and doubt he will get rested as they are low on players?
P Cripps = Consistant form as of late but will he keep it up?

Any other thoughts would be much appreciated  :)

As a Jelwood owner I'm worried he will get a rest with their run home. At the start of the season when he came in off next to no preseason he said he didnt expect to play every game but so far he has so that has me concerned

Bont won't get rested, so I would go with Bont or Neale

I am versing Jelwood this week in 1st round of finals.. If i dont get him and he destroys essendon it  could cost me... but then your right.. he most likely will get a rest since they can afford it.

Regarding Bont he only scored 79 last week.. do you think that is a reflection of Dahlhaus coming back into the team or just a bad game? Although libb could be out this week too...

I feared this when I brought Bont in 2 weeks ago, but I did some analysis and he still scored well in the games Dahl played earlier on. Only 1 dogs player scored over 100, so wouldn't take too much from game. I expect him to bounce back

Pendles

Very unlikely to make the 8 but the Pies will throw everything at it

Last four - Richmond, Bulldogs, GCFC, Hawks (@MCG)

This thread confuses me. Not surprised I have had p-lenty. Current mids are 7? Who is your final id? Libba? Is Rocky a consideration? Sory I am clearly reading wrong.

Im saying i have 7 premium mids at the moment which i listed and i have 1 last mid to upgrade which i did not name as he was a rookie / irrelevant  :)

Was thinking Jelwood but due to him being rested soon is a bit risky so leaning more towards bont now.

Sorry Steven. I had too many beers mate. Shouldn't have typed anything.

Out of Bont & Jelwood I would go Bont solely for the reason you mentioned (less likely to get a rest). If saving a dollar can help with any remaining trades it would have to be Treloar or Cripps. It will be interesting to see how the week gap affects the general soreness situation. You would think they would rest them this week or the next at the latest otherwise possibly risk going into a 2nd final having played 2 games in 5 or 6 weeks which is surely too much rest? Is it possible that very few players from teams in top 4 contention even get a rest this year? Or maybe just some of the 32+ brigade.
