Heppell and Hibberd?

Bennell can probably go in the fragile category...

Has there been any official word on how they're going to deal with banned bombers prices for next year? Because if they get the full 0-game discount I'm sure we'd all be locking in Heppell, Hooker, Hibberd, and Hurley...

I could see something like a 10% discount

MC

Though when Crowley was banned he came back with a huge discount.. The precedent seems to have been set!

Yeah but didn't he miss most of the previous year too or something?

He was $202800 this year he only missed 2015 but he only avg. 53.6 in 2014 so he got discount for missing 2015 , so how much would a player who avg's 53.6 normally cost without discount ?

He got a 30% discount based on a 53.6 ave.

I've noticed over the last few years that the discounts are generally smaller for players who average less than 60

Ok well based on that all the bomber suspended players should get a 30% discount ....... that will make them popular  :P

I'd only consider it a 30% discount IF they return straight back to scoring as they did in 2015...  No guarantees after a year off footy without even VFL or anything to keep their skills/match-fitness up.

They're professional athletes, I'm sure they've been working on their fitness and skills all 2016.

And we'll always have the NAB challenge to figure out where they all are at

The one I'm considering locking in even without a discount is Heppell.

He seemed the most upset at losing a whole year of footy (the youngest and most talented so obvious reasons), he's a strong leader and he will have a burning desire more than no else.

He will be as fit as possible and I think he'll absolutely dominate.

Heppell doesn't have the best disposal so in DT I will lock him but SC I'll have second thoughts.

I'm thinking of a midfield of Danger, Pendles, Fyfe Murphy, Beams and rookies.

So if Heppell's normal price was $570000 that would mean he would $399000 now that is a bargain

This is true. But he went 106 two years ago and without a discount will be priced at 103 so I think he could push 110 easily. Obviously draw and injuries and what not will depend on things but I'd really like to nab him.

Danger, Hanners, Fyfe, Rocky, Beams, Hep rookies.

Is Murphy worth it? won't get a discount, and I can't see him being a top 10 mid, so leaves him in an awkward spot

He'll be priced at only a 79 average, that's why he's definitely one to be considered. Probably around $425-430k?
