PNL set Focus to Finals

This was a win that the Reindeers were expected to win, and one they needed to give them a chance to make the top 4 (dependent on Seoul's result). The Saints however, being one of 5 teams sharing that 9-7 record and contending for finals, have now officially missed their shot at consecutive finals appearances, finish 11th to cap off a disappointing year.

Christchurch Saints (19.6.120) lost to PNL Reindeers (22.10.142)

Big Islander Win Secures Finals Position

They've done it! The Islanders have gotten themselves into the finals from a big team effort, boosting their percentage by enough to secure 7th spot! I have to admit, I didn't think they'd make it a few weeks ago, but this team is full of quality; just look at those centurions! The Wolves now finally get to focus on preparing for a successful trading/drafting period, but with Pick 2 or Pick 3? How did Cairo go?

Pacific Islanders (23.10.148) def Toronto Wolves (18.11.119)

Best
Pacific: Rory Laird, Tom Mitchell, Andrew Gaff, Rhys Stanley, Steven Motlop, Devon Smith, Sam Gibson

Armadillo Armour Sand-Proof

Both the Dillos and Sands have done enough to secure their goals! The Sands have secured the Wooden Spoon; just 0.52% behind Toronto, and the Dillos have secured 8th spot! The Sands would be pretty relieved this season is over, but having Picks 1 & 2 would be exciting! What to do, what to do...

Cairo Sands (20.10.130) lost to Buenos Aires Armadillos (22.6.138)

I'm assuming Seoul missed out, NDT finished 5th and we finished 6th

Really didn't want to be facing Pacific!  :-X

Dublin. Destroy.

And there you have it folks; in rightfully the highest scoring game of the round, the Destroyers have secured the minor premiership from the Suns to sit well clear at top position, 1 game and a hunk of percentage above the new 2nd placed Rio. The Suns lost the minor premiership and a home qualifying final, but won the World Idol! Congratulations Mexico City, and congratulations Dublin!

Now to prepare for the trade period!

Revolution Rise

Gee this was a tense game! The Samurai choked at the end, needing an easily gettable 300 from its last 4 players (and HGA), but they combined for a little less than 240. One can't help but wonder if, had the Samurai picked their own team, New York would have missed out on finals... oh, New York made finals! As the 4th highest scoring team, the Revolution have definitely earned it, despite their declining form. Whereas the Samurai rue another year of being a team in limbo (neither particularly bad or good).

Tokyo Samurai (19.11.125) lost to New York Revolution (20.11.131)

Best
Tokyo: Jason Johannisen, Luke Parker, Zac Smith
New York: Jordan Lewis, Mitch Duncan, David Mundy
