I know its early in the trade period but what is the limit?  Action is afoot   :-[

At this point we are keeping it at 20 movements which includes draft picks but on trading probably won't count as a movement

Being new, is that per trade session or all up.

Probably a stupid question but is the cap of trade movements players going in or players going out?

Pretty sure it's out. So for example:

Team A is trading Player A and Player B
and
Team B is trading Player C

Then that would be 2 moves for Team A and 1 move for Team B.

We haven't had this problem before because beforehand it was always 1 for 1 or 2 for 2 trades etc., so it didn't matter then.

Ok so can we vote then on whether picks should be included as a movement?

This draft linked below is why a cap was bought in and why it includes draft picks in the movements and why picks will be included as a movement

So it is being counted to try and make people accountable for trading?

Just to play devil's advocate though, if each trade is deemed fair and reasonable then wouldn't this process do the same thing?

No it's so teams don't trade all their players for picks and end up in trouble with no playing depth etc to cover them for injuries or anything else that pops up for fantasy coaches.
When one coach trades out 13 players for picks,we had slightly smaller lists then as well, then you have to put the foot down somewhere. And we can already see that the same coach is possibly doing the same now this trade period.
Your team unfortunately was mismanaged by the previous coach who was also one of the ex admin by not trading to improve it and wanting hand outs all the time.
Pk took over his team in the off season which finished bottom the previous year and traded hard to get it up to making it more competitive and has made the top 8 this year as well on the back of 20 movements.

That's what I meant.

But if someone was trading OUT players for picks wouldnt that count as a movement as per Atto's example above?

Yes it counts as a movement any trades done count as a movement unless you are on trading either a player or a pick then that won't count as one, last trading period on trading was included as a movement but we lifted that one.
It's basically the same trading system as Euros but picks aren't counted there which is fine because there are only 10 movements there we have double that here so should be more than enough to cover player and pick movements.
And no one has yet used every single movement in trading the most used last trading periods was 15

Who was that coach... I find it hard saying that I ended up in trouble with no playing depth to cover injuries a bit of a joke that
Rocky, Ablett, Suckling, Mitch Robbo, Grigg, Adams all missed parts of this year and I would say I covered this considering I am a chance for minor pramiership still... If I can use all my trade movements that I have left for picks what is wrong with that?

That's fine if you do that no one said you can't but this discussion is about not having draft picks included as a movement if you care to read back in the thread and trying to explain to a new coach why this was bought in and why it's not being changed.

All good. Rules are rules!

Cheers for the explanation
