Blakely is purely an inside mid while Hill can't win a hard ball to save his life. Not sure what they have to do with eachother. Hill would take Pearce's spot.

A combo of Hill, Hill and Bennell would be pretty difficult to contain.

Barlow is likely to get moved so Fyfe is the only one that comes in. The thing is guys like Fyfe and Mundy can spend time out of the midfield which would mean that he has a spot in the rotation and with his form this year it will be hard to keep him out of the team next season.

Hill's form isn't great and he has been having off-field problems so going home probably is a decent option for him.

Hawthorn move him on and then have more room to pursue the likes of Tom Mitchell, O'Meara and Prestia.

Its a win-win for both.

Hawks will definitely be okay with moving him on too. As AK said, they'll definitely pursue Tom Mitchell and/or Jaeger.

Hill wants to go home, so Freo will need to satisfy Hawks request which is believed to be a first round pick atm.

I don't rate Brad Hill much at all, but he is only 23 and entering his prime so I think a first round pick is fair from that point of view as long as it's a late pick in the 14-20 range. I just think he's very very similar to Lewis Jetta - both overrated and one dimensional
