Jaguars Last Roar gets over Armadillos

Well! This was unexpected! The Jags made a terrific come from behind victory to steal the win off Buenos Aires, whom would be pointing to its last player in Jay Schulz (21) for failing to not score more than the previous HGA of 48. Had he scored that, the Dillos would have won, but not to be! All of a sudden, finals are the certainty we thought  :-X

Dublin Victory; World Idol Exit

Although the Destroyers get the win in expected fashion, they've been knocked out of the World Idol! But, had they played the rested Martin in place of Silvagni, they'd still be in it... but you get the feeling they'd prefer a win over Mexico City next week and claim the minor premiership instead, and fair enough too! Meanwhile for Moscow, at least Menegola wouldn't have made a difference, but still, an encouraging performance from him!

Dublin Destroyers (22.7.139) def Moscow Spetsnaz (19.9.123)

Sensational Stefan avert New Delhi Disaster

And the Tigers say "phew!". New Delhi were in all sorts of trouble heading into the final day of play, with London having a 562 point lead at one stage. Enter - Stefan Martin (162). What an individual performance. What a tense game; with the stakes so high! But alas for the Royals, Shuey couldn't do it by himself, but a HGA of 59 is pretty weird considering that score...

Pacific Pour Pain on Striked Samurai

This was a must-win game for the Islanders, and they won it. Although, they'd happily take that extra bit of percentage due to the Samurai having to have their team listed based on irreflective preferences... it might come in handy yet!

Scorching Suns too hot for Reindeers

No shame in the PNL performance; but total awe at the Suns! Mexico City successfully kept their Minor Premiership ambitions alive with a tough win that required a great score, so credit to them. However, this duel is not over yet! These two teams indirectly face each other again as the last two teams in World Idol, then they could even play each other again in a qualifying final the week after!

PNL Reindeers (23.9.147) lost to Mexico City Suns (26.8.164)
