Just found out that the self-proclaimed King of the 1500m Sun Yang missed the final  ;D

Anyone else get a cold spine when they found our Aussie cycling girls fighting for Bronze?

Surely I'm not the only one suggesting that team pursuit final between *cough* China and *cough* Russia as a little suspect?

Now don't call me racist but, when did you last hear of a Chinese cyclist?

Statistically, they should be able to find 4 decent cyclists out of 1,376,000,000 people

He forgot to have his 'heart medicine'

Sure looked like it when he became almost motionless at the 8 minute mark

Geezus, did anyone see that rowing result? 2000m and they finish fractions of a second apart.

Mahe Drysdale is an absolute champion ... stayed up late last night just to watch that race. NZ legend.
Won Bronze in the men's single scull in Beijing after suffering a severe gastrointestinal infection... vomiting for about a week in the lead up to his event and needed to be helped to an ambulance after the race.
Won Gold in London after vomiting pre race with nervousness.
And now Gold again last night at 37 years, 8 months... to become NZ's oldest ever gold medallist at an Olympic Games.

Gutted for Valerie Adams (probably NZ's most loved Olympian...was going for her third straight Gold...and sister of Steven Adams of Oklahoma City Thunder fame) for winning Silver in the Shot Put, beaten by an American having the last throw.

Channel 7 in panic mode they would be prepared for 2 hours of replays and some montages for the Campbell sisters victory , haha never count your chickens

You know what, it hasnt stopped them replaying this several time...bet there wasnt as many replays for all the actual medals we won.....(unless it was swimming)

That was a great swim from Cate Campbell there in the relay to get the girls up to a silver medal

The biggest disappointment for me so far is for the parents of the beautiful Hungarian swimmer who both need a good hard slapping for naming there beautiful daughter Boglarka .... shocker of a name  :P

Solid swim from her and Chalmers gained a bit of ground and helped claim Bronze for the mens :D.

Phelp's last swim as well and goes out on top!

By that logic they should be winning the 100m sprint and the 200, 400, Javlelin, equestrian, all the rowing medals .........

and they should've raced against India in the final ::)
