wowee, whats your rank?

3992, still in lockout. Hopefully raised a bit this week. Dropped a bit last week carrying injured guys. But I was planning they would be there in finals. Maybe not though.
Stu  How many trades left.  You must have heaps?

Correction. Zerrett was an upgrade. 9 trades.

I dropped 1650 places last week from injuries. Had been in the 1-2000s before then. I was thinking I'd nailed the premos better than ever at the start.

Well done on sticking fat with guys like Gray Suckling Hall etc. You have defuantly had a roller coaster year with those injuries but I'm sure the saved trades will be a blessing in the remaining rounds

Thoughts on Sheil? Looked as though he'd break out but never really got going.. Injured? Can't cope with the tags?

Shiel always seems to get a niggle each week. Ankle, shoulder, knee you name it. Tags don't help that cause.

But the biggest thing Ive noticed is his minutes actually spent on ground - these are poor.

He's only spent 2 games on the ground at over 100 minutes, the rest lie between 80 and 95. His two games above 100 minutes he recorded a 109 & 114. His ppm actually register high at 1.1ppm, which lies in the territory of blokes like Sloane, Hannebery, Neale, Ward etc, and those blokes rairly spend under 105 minutes on the ground (mostly above) and hence their superior averages (109+)

If he was to reduce the amount of niggles he gets every week, build his engine ever so slightly (he's quite fit I thought), he could easily average over 110 and match it with the best mids. Tom Mitchell has the same problem as Shiel with regards to TOG, but I think that's Horse speaking and not his ability to attain injury throughout a game.

Interestingly enough, Luke Parker is the only player in the top 15 mids to register a ppm at less than 1.1 (he sits at 1.0 and averages 111)

Yeah, you have bought that up previously re tog.
I think it may well be because he doesn't really play forward like Parker (so it's either mids or bench) and GWS don't rely on him i.e. Sloane, Neale etc.
Reason I ask is I'm keeping a close eye on him with a thought to next year. The way he plays screams 'ultra premo' but his numbers in SC are mediocre this year.
