Just had a read, and it looks like Cairo get 1 & 2, and Toronto get a priority pick after the first round

Pick 01 - Cairo
Pick 02 - Cairo
Pick 03 - Toronto
Pick 04 - Tokyo
Pick 05 - Moscow
Pick 06 - London
Pick 07 - Cape Town
Pick 08 - Berlin
Pick 09 - Christchurch
Pick 10 - Beijing
Pick 11 - Seoul
Pick 12 - Buenos Aires
Pick 13 - Pacific
Pick 14 - New York
Pick 15 - New Dehli
Pick 16 - PNL
Pick 17 - Rio
Pick 18 - Mexico
Pick 19 - Dublin
Pick 20 - Toronto

So we would have

Round 01 - 14
Round 02 - 32
Round 03 - 50
Round 04 - 68
Round 05 - 86

I think that's correct?

Oh, so it's based on ladder after finals? Wasn't sure if that was the case, but assumed it would have been based on ladder after home and away

Yep, after finals. Same as the AFL.

Jroo

For teams out there looking to be more competitive next year, I have quite a few short-term solutions.

Heath Shaw, Kade Simpson, Jimmy Bartel, Brendon Goddard, Brent Stanton, Brett Deledio, Nick Riewoldt, Brent Harvey, Eddie Betts, Daniel Wells, Adam Cooney

I would be open to the idea of trading some, to get some younger starters/good youth into my team.

11th this year is simply not good enough so I don't mind if I do get more competitive.

And if none of JROO's guys are particularly appealing, keep in mind that I'm willing to trade Gibbs for Goddard + a decent pick or young talent who hasn't taken off yet. So if you can lure BJ away it might be in your best interests, even if you've got no use for old guys.

Stringer for NRoo + a good pick anyone?

Hartlett would look good in a new jumper, my 31 year old former Moscow gun in the backline belongs with me.

Ben Reid is a solid 80 average player with lots of footy left.

I've said it plenty of times, I am very very willing to trade my guys who are 21-28 (except WHE and probably Breust)

3-way deals anyone?

Does anyone want to pay massive overs for Harris Andrews like they seem to be willing to do for Weits? I mean, HA averaged 90.7 across a patch of 6 matches (better than Weits has done) in his debut season. Nevermind that he was only just okay in most other games and finished with a mid 60's average (just like Weits), he's worth trading a premium for if Weitering is. I don't care if he wasn't pick 1, neither was Rory Sloane or Sam Mitchell or Dane Swan or Luke Parker...

Toga

Neale - could be traded for a 100+ mid and an upgrade elsewhere (probably defense).
Christensen/Jenkins - could be traded for a mid worthy of a spot on the IC or a starting defender.
Picks + others - could be traded.. Why not enquire ;)

Motion to change the the Starting 15 line up to

DEF: 1, 2, 3, 4
MID: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5
RUC: 1
FWD: 1, 2, 3
I:, 1, 2

It ain't easy getting half decent forwards!

^ I think that's the way to go also, people almost always name a midfielder on the Interchange anyway.

My only suggestion is that people get to choose whether they select a 4th defender or a 4th forward

its true for some teams. But loads of teams are sturggling for mids.

I know i barely had 4 playing some weeks and then had 2 defenders on the utiiltiy bench,
