9 trades for us so far, and I think we might be done  :-X

Next stop: Nat Draft

Feel free to enquire about our players, but I think I can now take a break from sending 1000 PM's to enquire and negotiate  :)

It's been a hectic and time consuming month or two, but totally worth it

So what's this new look New York look like after another semi-radical makeover?

Players can shuffle around depending on 2017 positions, but lets assume

Best XV
D: Mundy, Gibson, McDonald, Hurn
M: Lewis, Duncan, Scully, Tyson
R: Tippett
F: JJK, Heeney, Menzel, Stringer
U: Grigg, Picken

Reserve XV
D: Henderson, Reid, S.Collins, Sinclair
M: Conca, Rosa, Sexton, Harmes
R: Bellchambers
F: McGlynn, Gresham, White, M.W Brown
U: Fitzpatrick, H.Marsh

Obviously got a few picks to bring in some new kids too

Don't like Monday's chances of being a defender much.

Yeah it's 50/50 I reckon, but if he isn't then we bring Hendo/Reid into def, move Mundy to mids, Tyson to Interchange and Picken/Grigg to Emergency

Would be nice if Picken gets fwd status too.

Happy with the depth and overall age profile, so hopefully 2017 is a decent year for us

Nige

Gresham not starting is an injustice and needs to be addressed.

Nobody ever gets their best XV on the park anyway so he'll play plenty.

Vinny

On chat if anyone wants to talk WXV trades with iZander and myself.

M.Hartley, T.Chaplin, J.Adcock, R.Bewick, S.Butler, S.Skinner, J.Wagner, D.Merrett could all move for picks or midfield depth.

Keen.

RaisyDaisy

Haha,

Vin, we can add Andrew Walker, Adam Marcon and Cam Shenton and package all 6 up

MajorLazer

Howdy all

Dayne Beams is very close to gone from Cairo, so if you wanna get in on this action, chuck one of us coaches at Cairo a PM with your best offers.

Trade 30

New Delhi trade: Stephen Coniglio, Jarman Impey, Zachary Clarke, Jack Hannath + Luke Partington
Votes: 7
Admin Comments: I entirely agree with the reject decision, and will not be overturning the verdict. You could mount an argument that Gray equals Coniglio tbh, given regular history of being a captain choice and Coniglio turning it up for just one season so far. Sheed is quality, as is Vlastuin, whilst Impey, Clarke, Hannath and Partington (at least atm) are not. Rucks have a premium, sure, but not so much when neither of them are no 1 choices in their AFL team. New Delhi have much more to give to make this trade fair, and should focus on reducing quantity for increased quality. I will send the reasons out shortly.
Verdict: REJECTED

Ah right. Just read through the reasons so we'll reassess it.

Just for those that said Conigs has only had one good year, just keep this in mind

Last year round 1 he wore the vest and got 18SC. Excluding that game he went at 96ave last year as a 21yr old
This year 105+ as a 22yr old
So he has backed up a solid season and has 8+ years left of similar scoring

He was borderline the #1 pick in that huge draft. He played WAFL as a 16yr old. Kicked 4 goals in a WAFL GF as a 16 yr old. He is quality.

And if worried about the other GWS mids affecting him.
Pendles Swan Sidey Beams Ball all managed to score premo numbers
JPK Parker KJack Hannebery mcVeigh Malceski and McGlynn all averaged over 100 in Buddy's first year at Swans

And he's an inside mid. Outside players would be the first to be affected if at all.

22yr old 105+ mid
Compared to Gray who's 29 next year... we had to get something back to move him or its not worth it

And lastly one of the initial offers from moscow was
Conigs + a late pick
For
Gray + Sheed

But we'll have another look at it and resubmit

RaisyDaisy

Hey Rico, just my 2c but I think Gray for Conigs considering the age difference is fair - def not enough to neg and reading Purps explanation it seems that way too

The problem is Sheed and Vlastuin are good young prospects who have shown enough to tell us they'll be decent starters one day or handy cover while the 4 you added are not

Just need to fix that part of the trade

Good Luck :)
